The finca is located on a 3,5 hectare sized property. The finca is built in Andalusian style and suitable for a maximum of seven persons. A 150 meters long private road, surrounded by eucalyptus trees and cypresses, is leading to the entry. There is a 40 square meters sized pool, a washing machine, dishwasher, bed linen, towels, a complete equipment; there are no extra fees. You can do walks in the Nature Park Sierra de Almijarra/de Tejeda or play golf at the coast (Baviera Golf). This is the ideal place for individual holidays for enthusiasts and discerning people. You can relax and recreate and you are the only guests. The married couple and administrators Dona Lucrecia and Don Silvestre are your personal hosts. The finca Marico unites Mediterranean outdoor living with middle-class comfortableness. The buildings are located at the south slope where there are terraces, gardens and pergolas with wine leaves.

The finca Marico unites Mediterranean outdoor living with middle-class comfortableness. The buildings are located at the south slope where there are terraces, gardens and pergolas with wine leaves. This creates intimacy, recreation and coolness. The 40 square meters sized pool which is looked after by the administrator is irreplaceable (March to October). The big Casa Jardin (garden room) with a bathroom offers two beds, the Casa Azul with two little rooms and a roofterrasse has got three other beds (for example for children or adolescents). Next to the pool the terraces create the “centre of interest”: depending on the position of the sun either when you see the stars or during the day. The view from the north to the protecting house mountain as well as the view from the south to the sea, are overwhelming. In this idyllic finca a complete equipment as well as a gas and electric heating is waiting for you. You are the only guests.

The finca is located in the position longitude 04°00`34`` west and latitude 36°51`24`` north, 750 m above the sea level. It is situated nearby some big places of cultural interests at the Costa del Sol, to the east of Málaga, south of the Maroma (2065 m), 400 m away from the National Park Sierra de Almijara/de Tejeda, between the moorish wine-villages Archez-Salarez-Canilla de Albaida-Cómpeta. Enjoy the view to the Mediterranean Sea (linear distance 10 km, mountain road 23 km to the coast). The finca is 78 km away from the airport Málaga where your hired car is waiting for you. Ordinary shopping possibilities and restaurants you can find in Canillas de Albaida/Cómpeta. You can find more and a wider range of shopping possibilities and restaurants in the tourist towns of the Costa del Sol in Torre del Mar/Vélez Málaga. There you can also find some golf courses. The sun, less strong due to the wind from the mountain and from the sea, creates an nice dry climate. Enjoy the tranquility.

Additional information about rental rates

  • To the basic charge of 45 €, 55 € and accordingly 75 € per day, we add 6 € per person and per day. Like that you just pay for the actual amount of persons. Additional bookings are possible. If you are staying longer then 7 days, the arrival and the departure day we count as one day. As of the third week you get a reduced charge per week: 275 €, 345 € and accordingly 485 € as basic charge plus 42 € per person and per week. Regular guests get an additional discount of 5 %. In the price included is: electricity, water, gas, bed-linen, towels (which are changed weekly); the flat is cleaned once a week; (pets are not allowed); final cleaning. We recommend (within one week after the booking) to take out a travel cancellation insurance with the travel agency or automobile clubs, etc. Dona Lucrecia and Don Silvestre are your personal hosts, the married administrative couple, who are happy to inform and help you.
  • Your booking: Please contact us and we send you directly our brochure. If you have decided for the finca, please transfer a first payment of 300 € to our bank account and send us the completed and signed return coupon. As soon as we receive it, we will send you our confirmation and the detailed and illustrated information package with additional hints and advices for your visit. If you like we can send this package to you as well before your booking. The resting amount of the charge is to be paid 6 weeks before the departure date.
  • Breach of contract: 1) The achieved payments will be retained. 2) The second payment which is to be done 6 weeks before the arrival date has still to be paid as well as administrative charges of 50 €. 3) If a next tenant can be found (by you or by us by your order) you will get the rental rate minus our expenses due to the new renting. The common business conditions of the renting law are applied.

Arrival: You can either reach us by car or you can take the plane to Málaga from where you can hire a car. Detailed information you will have in the brochure or in the information package, which we would like to send you. Our administrator is receiving you and shows you the finca. If you should arrive a bit later, the administrator will be waiting for you. If the delay will be during the night, you will find everything open and lighted. The administrator will come to you the next morning. Depending on the weather, the administrator will come to water the plants at the finca, clean the pool and take care of the garden once a week.

Places of cultural interests nearby the finca/ Cli: Hours by car: Grenada (Alhambra) 2,5; Sevilla 3,5; Ronda 3; Córdoba 3; Toledo 5; Gibraltar 3; Algeciras for Ceuta/Maroco, 3. The Axarquia (Rincon de la Victoria to Nerja) has got the mildest climate of Europe. It is located between the sea and the mountains which is the reason for a regular temperature equalization as well as for the cultivation of olives, almonds, wine, kaki, avocados, sugar cane and papayas.

Wie die letzten Jahre auch, genossen wir unsere Sommerferien in vollen Zügen. Die Einrichtung ist in sehr gutem Zustand und wird noch jedes Jahr optimiert. Wer spontan was grillieren will, kann, anstatt des Holzkohlegrills bequem den vorhandenen, einfach zu bedienenden Elektrotischgrill benutzen. Ein besonderer Service ist das kostenlose WLan, welches unsere Kinder täglich benutzten. Die neuen Betten und Matrazen in der Casa Antigua bieten auch sehr grossen Personen angenehmen Schlafkomfort.

Auch dieses Jahr waren wir wieder auf der herrlichen Finca Fuente 18 wunderschöne Ferientage verbracht.Der Frühsommer Mai/Juni ist eine blütenreiche Zeit-etwas für Hobby-Fotografen.Dieses Kleinod in Andalusiens Bergen ist weiter uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Una Fiesta Andaluza!

Die Angaben im Inserat sind korrekt und die Bilder lügen nicht.Bei einer Vollbelegung mit 7 Personen muss es sich um 3 Paare handeln, wobei sich 1 Paar sehr gut verstehen muss, um auf sehr engem Raum miteinander auszukommen. Die Finca wird in perfektem Zustand übergeben und die Landschaft um das Anwesen, sowie die Wandermöglichkeiten sind so außergewöhnlich, dass man nicht unbedingt weit weg fahren muss. Nach Málaga fährt man zwischen 70 und 90 Minuten und kann da das Flair einer andalusischen Metropole genießen. Zum Meer und gemütlichen Chiringitos (einfache Fischlokale) sind es 40 Minuten. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und hervorragender Wein vom Produzenten in Competa. Die Ausstattung der Küche ladet geradezu zum Selberkochen ein.

Idylle und Komfort auf Fuent del Hierro

wir genossen eine woche erholung in einer sehr komfortablen, großzügig und geschmackvoll gestalteten tiptop gepflegten finca, deren ausstattung keine wünsche offen ließ.
alle angebotenen leistungen wurden erfüllt und die beteuung durch den vermieter klappte reibungslos.
wir waren gast in einer sehr reizvollen zum wandern gut geeigneten berglandschaft mit blick zum meer, das man wegen der entfernung allerdings oft nur im dunst erahnen konnte.
zum strand waren es mit dem auto ca. 25 minuten und zum restaurant braucht man auch ca.15 minuten mit dem auto.
entschädigt wird man dafür trotz hochsaison für nur sehr geringe begegnungen mit den schrecken des massentourismus.

Wir haben für 10 Wochen Ferien ein Idylle vorgefunden. Abseits und ruhig gelegen, eingebettet in einer wunderbaren Landschaft mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Die Finca ist bestens ausgestattet, es fehlt nichts vom Gefrierschrank, über ein Waffeleisen hin zu Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler und vielen anderen diversen erleichternden Geräten. Dazu eine Blumen-Oleander-Rosen-welt, die begeistert. Und ein Vermieter, der sich um alles kümmert und ständig Kontakt hält. Wenn Sie Andalusien richtig kennen lernen wollen und die Ruhe suchen, dann hier.
