The non-smoking apartment built in 1998 is lovely furnished and equipped with a balcony on the south-east side with a view over the lake. The beach is located few yards away. The bicycle circuit starts in front of the building. Also very convenient you find the promenade, yacht harbour and surfing school. The apartment is very easy to reach by public transportation.

The Apartment was built in 1998. The non smoking apartment is lovely furnished. It is bright and offers a balcony facing the south west side of the propery. It is located in the second floor. Closed by you find the 'bathing isle' of the Steinhuder Meer. A phantastic place for children to swim and play. In addition you can use a bicycle driving around the lake. The well signed circuit starts in front of the house on Bleichenstrasse. Also close by you find the promenade where you can have a nice walk as well as the yacht habour where you can rent sailing boards or surf boards. The Apartment is located in front of the bus station Hafenstrasse therefore it is easy to reach by public transportation

The small town of Steinhude is located on the southern shore of the Steinhuder Lake, 20 miles west of Hanover, Germany. It was formerly a small fishing village. Now it’s a primarily rural, nationally - recognized holiday resort. The fishing nets and baskets, the fishing boats and the peat skiffs on the shore provide a touch of nostalgia. Even today the fishermen still sail out onto the lake. In the town centre of Steinhude you will find many old, half-timbered houses, cosy restaurants and numerous shops. The locality of Steinhude offers a great choice of leisure and sporting activities. The focus of the Steinhuder holiday resort is the 35 000 square metre artificial beach island 'Badeinsel', with a beautiful sandy beach, a sunbathing area and extensive play areas. The brackish moor water is biologically very healthy and prized the swimmers and paddlers. The Steinhuder Meer is well-known as a sailor’s paradise! National and international Regattas are held here annually.

Familie Thiemann aus Lippetal, Eintrag am 12.07.2007. Wir haben hier eine schöne Woche verlebt, trotz der Regenschauer. Kennen jetzt Steinhude, mit seiner Fußgängerzone, besuchten Wunstorf und Stadthagen. In der Wohnung haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das gleiche können wir von unserem Vermieter, Herrn Krabbes, sagen. ** Fam. Pape aus Arnsberg, Eintrag am 24.07.2007. Hallo, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, es war alles da was man braucht und mehr. Das Wetter hat auch gut mitgespielt, eine Radtour um den 'See' sollte man unbedingt machen. Ein Ausflug nach Wunstorf lohnt sich wirklich. Im Fischerhaus Samos kann man lecker essen gehen. Wir waren zum 2. Mal hier und kommen wieder. ** Helen und Malcolm Hemingway sowie Jean Watson aus Selby, North Yorkshire, England. Hallo, wir haben als erstes Hannover erkundet. Da gibt es so viele Läden. Und dann haben wir das Musical Porgy and Bess in der Hannoverschen Oper gesehen, Super.

Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind haben uns in der Wohnung
richtig "Zuhause" gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist tatsächlich
komplett ausgestattet und es wurde sogar an eine Tageszeitung gedacht.
