Notes to the rental rates

• The prices refer to 6 people max. These prices are final prices and include the housemaid 5 x week, final cleaning, water and electricity. The electricity is covered to an amount of 25 € per week, which does well provide for normal electricity consumed. Only for special uses as pool heating, electric heating of the rooms or extensive use of garden and pool lightning additional costs as per electric meter will be due. If the rare wood of the house is used, there will be a charge according to the market price. Telephone costs extra. High speed ADSL-Internet at an extra cost of 20 € per week. All charges will be charged at the end of the lease by the house administrator. Golf fees available at hotel-discounts. Changeover day to be agreed upon. The vacant periods and reasonable rates 2009 on request.
  
• The excellent price relation for this villa with the large compound, very private pool and vicinity to the Centianes beach and the village Carvoeiro, almost unique in Carvoeiro, make this offer so very attractive. Our only disadvantage: it is impossible to describe or photograph all the beauty and speciality. Our clients are always taken by surprise, which our new established guestbook will proof. One advise: bookings start very early, it will be better to begin your enquiries soon. 2008 is thus already almost completely gone with the exception of the 06.12.-20.12. 08 and Christmas/New Year 2008/2009. All other weeks are taken by us, family, friends or clients. The vacant periods and reasonable rates 2009 on request.

From our guestbook: 20.05.07 We have visited this beautiful Villa twice now and will definately do so again, both with family and friends. All of the kids that have been with us - aged from 2 to 17 - love the place. Lovely spacious rooms, equiped and furnished to the VERY highest levels. Huge grounds, lovely palms and plants, superb pool and patio areas. Local staff very helpful and attentive. Owners are very kind and helpful. The area itself is great and self contained. 12.7.07 We recently had a fantastic stay at Castelo do Mar. The photographs on the website don't do the property justice, it really is a magical place. A beautiful villa set in 2 acres of mature grounds, seperate fenced and gated pool area (very important if you have young kids like us), Castelo do Mar is equiped to the highest standard and is a great place to relax and unwind. Added to this it is within easy walking distance to the restaurants & bars of Carvoeiro, the to 2 local beaches. ..more in the guestbook

From our guestbook: 09.01.08 Wij komen al 17 jaar vrijwel elke Kerstperiode in de Algarve, meestal in Carvoeiro, waar we inmiddels verschillende villa's hebben gehuurd. Sommige huizen bevielen ons zeer goed en anderen wat minder goed. Castello do Mar valt zeker in de eerste categorie. Het is een comfortabel ingerichte villa, met een mooie grote, vrijgelegen tuin met een omheind zwembad (belangrijk als er kleine kinderen mee zijn), een kleine citrusboomgaard en ook grote wilde stukken. Ook vermeldenswaardig is het feit dat 1 van de 3 tweepersoonskamers een eigen opgang met badkamer en dakterras heeft, met uitzicht op de omringende rotskust en op de zee. Als je met meerderen bent kun je daar toch even van wat privacy genieten. Ook in de kerstperiode is Castelo do Mar een uitstekende villa om te huren. Hoewel het water van het zwembad natuurlijk net wat te koud is om in te zwemmen (in de zee kan wel), is het wel vaak heerlijk weer om aan de rand van het zwembad, ... more see our websit
