Our wonderful summer residence in the south of France is lovingly furnished in Mediterranean Style. Only 200 metres away, there is a sandy beach, which is some kilometres long. Two patios invite you to tarry. One big patio, facing south, with typical plants of the country, and a smaller one, facing north, on which you are not bothered by wind and can relax on hot summer days. On the second floor, you will find a balcony. The house offers a spacious dining- and living- room, three separate bedrooms, a very well equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Not far away, in the centre of the village, there are many different shopping possibilities and variegated restaurants. The long beach is really qualified for little children, because the sea bottom is shallow.

It’s a really beautiful place: Narbonne- Plage. Between Narbonne and its bathing resort the Montagnes de la Clape rise. It is a charming region of hills with gorgeous smelling plants and widely spread fields of wine. Here you find the perfect landscape for hiking and biking. The beach is fantastic; it is about 200 to 300 metres wide, has bright sand, is well-kept and phases out shallowly. The sun shines about 300 days a year, and it does not astonish that mostly the children play at the beach and splash in the sea the whole day long. All different kinds of aquatic sports are possible, allowed and are offered. For 15 years now, Narbonne- Plage receives the “Blue Flag of Europe”, as acknowledgement for its cleanliness of the beach and the good quality of the water.

Superschönes Haus und Top Lage

Wir waren jetzt schon zum zweiten Mal um Maison du Coq und ich muss sagen: es ist einfach nur schön.
Es ist alles da, was man für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Es gibt saubere Betten, eine voll ausgestatte Küche und eine gepflegte, ordentliche Einrichtung. Das neue vergrößerte Badezimmer gefiel uns (4 Personen) besonders gut, denn man kann sich jetzt auch zu zweit "fertig" machen.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, denn neben dem Haus, hat es uns auch die Umgebung angetan.
Narbonne (-Plage) ist wunderschön und dank des Hundestrands, der in unmittelbarer Nähe ist, kam unsere Bonny auch voll auf ihre Kosten.
Danke für zwei weitere unvergessliche Wochen

Unsere Familie verbrachte einen schönen Urlaub in diesem Haus. Es fehlte uns an Nichts. Das Haus war sehr sauber und gut und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Auch die größere Familie findet hier genügend Platz und Ruhe. Alle Angaben des Inserats trafen voll zu. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch die Nähe zu dem herrlichen Sandstrand . Unser Vierbeiner hat sich an dem gut zu Fuß erreichbaren Hundestrand austoben können. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fanden wir ganz in der Nähe. So waren unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt - wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Mein Bruder, Meine Kollegin, Unsere Hunde und ich durften im Sommer 2008 zwei tolle Wochen im Haus Maison du coq verbringen. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, und in den Sommernächten lädt die Terrasse zum verweilen ein. Die etwas steile Treppe war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Einrichtung war wie in den Details beschrieben.
Der Hundestrand war einfach super.

Maison du Coq

Angaben im Online Inserat waren übertrieben positiv dargestellt: Nordterasse steiniger Eingangsbereich, sehr ungemütlich und direkt am Parkplatz bzw. Straße gelegen. Einrichtung des Hauses entsprach nicht der Vorstellung von mediterranem Ambiente. Zu wenig Platz für 6 Personen: schmale Doppelbetten, sehr kleines Bad, kein Stauraum für Hausreinigungsgerätschaften bzw. für mitgebrachte Strand- und Spielutensilien.
Schlafzimmerschränke recht geräumig. Haus ingesamt sauber, kann aber unserer Meinung nach nicht als "exklusiv" bezeichnet werden. Liegt in gepflegter Ferienhausanlage als kleines Reihenhaus. Entfernung zum Strand etwas weiter als angegeben.
Narbonne Plage ist nahezu reines Ferienhaus- Dorf mit überwiegend französischem Publikum. Jeden Abend kleiner Markt an der Promenade, dort oft auch Live Musik im Pavillon.
Kein offizieller Hundestrand ausgewiesen.

Maße der Betten und Ausstattung sind genauso wie in unserer Anzeige angegeben und entsprechen dem Standard.

Gerade die Lage der Nordterasse wurde uns bisher als positiv bestätigt, da es sich an heißen Tagen hier besonders gut aushalten lässt. Da sich unser Ferienhaus in einer geschlossenen Anlage befindet, ist auf der Strasse kaum Betrieb. Privatstrasse!

Narbonne ist ein schöner alter Ferienort mit einer starken touristischen Ausrichtung. Zwar noch immer etwas klein und zurückhaltend organisiert, ist in der Saison der Ort jedoch durch die hohe Akzeptanz bei der französischen Bevölkerung sehr stark frequentiert. Besonders der herrliche Sandstrand, der ausgesprochen kinderfreundlich ist, wird von den Besuchern geschätzt und da die Franzosen Tierliebhaber sind und fast jeder Urlauber einen Hund dabei hat, wird der in Narbonne in jeder Werbebroschüre ausgewiesene Hundestrand auch sehr gerne genutzt.
