This house made of natural stone is located on the Etruscan coast, only 12 km from the sea. It is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is an ideal vacation destination for the ones who enjoy silence and nature. At the same time, it is not far away from the cultural cities of Tuscany. The center of the medieval village Montescudaio is only 1,5 km away. The 90 m² large apartment on 2 floors accommodates up to 7 people. It is friendly and rustic, designed in Tuscany style. On the ground floor, there is a newly equipped eat-in kitchen, with kitchen block, open fireplace and a dining area. Through the hallway, you can reach a bedroom with 2 single beds and a small single bedroom. There is a big bathroom with WC and shower, and a guests’ bathroom. washing machine is available. A stairway leads to the second floor. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. You will also find a furnished terrace and a big enclosed garden with a shadowy walnut tree in front of the house

Montescudaio, a small village upcountry, is only 12 km away from the sea. Thanks to its strategic location, it was an important place in the Middle Ages, and in the Renaissance it was an important castle. Even today, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama right from the Church Square. On serene days, the view reaches the plain of the river Cecina, the blue Tyrrhenian Sea with its islands Capraia, Gorgona and Elba. The geographical location and the natural environment favour a hill/ seaside tourism. Large woods offer a refreshing oasis in the summer. Montescudaio has become well known in Europe also thanks to its DOC wine. In automn, a wine festival takes place on the castle square. There are also in the summer numerous popular festivals and cultural events. After a quiet walk on the alleys, through gates and arches, you can enjoy a Cappuccino in the typical restaurants on the small “piazza”.

  • The prices include electricity, water and gas. On request, you can rent linen and towels. Other than that, you can bring your own linen and towels. When you make the booking, you need to pay 20 % from the rental rate. The balance is to be paid according to the agreement. Please pay the 30 Euros charge for the final cleaning, directly on location. Thank you for your understanding. A travel cancellation expenses insurance is included in the price. Please conclude the insurance.
  • Included in the price is also a Welcome-Card, which offers you a 10 % discount in different restaurants.
  • You receive a 5 % early booking discount for bookings which take place until January, 31st 2007. If you make a short-term booking, you need to pay a 10 % late booking charge.

The Tuscany Etruscans’ Coast: The Tuscany Etruscans’ Coast is located only 12 km from the house. There you can find fantastic pine woods with natural beaches that invite you to swim. You can rent sun shades and couches in Cecina Mare as well. A water park with water slides and animation (Aqua Park) can also be found here. You can also rent bikes. There are beautiful biking tracks through the 5 km long pine wood, up to Marina di Bibbona.

Wir waren mit dem Haus und dem Garten sehr zufrieden. Alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Auch gab es so gut wie keine Insekten (vor allem kaum Stechmücken), da sich rund um das Haus so einige putzige Eidechsen tummeln. Und die Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern tun ihr übriges.
Die Küche ist nett eingerichtet und es ist alles da was man zum Kochen braucht.
Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Gutes Haus in schöner Umgebung

Das Haus ist, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten, in einem sehr guten Zustand. Unsere Kinder konnten im Garten spielen und laut sein wie sie mochten, da es keine direkten Nachbarn gibt.
Bequem sitzen kann man jedoch nur auf dem Zweisitzer (im Foto rechts vor dem Kamin).
Die Kueche ist ganz gut ausgestattet, aber nicht extravagant.
Die Angaben aus der Online-Beschreibung stimmen soweit (den Hochstuhl und einen Liegestuhl haben wir nicht gefunden, hat uns aber auch nicht gestoert). Die Bilder geben das Haus und seine Einrichtung wieder wie sie ist.
Das Haus ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Fuer Fahrten nach Cecina (Strand) und andere Ausflugsziele ist es aber eh unabdingbar eins dabei zu haben.
