Photos and Description of this St. Jakob holiday farmhouse Lovingly furnished with original antiques and featuring all comfort.

Charming two-storey traditional chalet (240 sq. m.) with country antiques situated in the National Park ‘Hohe Tauern’ in East Tyrolia, Austria, near the Italian border. The famous ski area of St. Jakob can be reached by free ski bus directly from the house several times per day. The height of 1300 m normally guarantees snow throughout the season way into April. St. Jakob is East Tyrolia’s best known ski town and can be reached on good roads in 3 hours from Munich. The slopes allow runs up to the house. Long, well-groomed cross country tracks available as well as any kind of winter and summer sports activity. Beautiful hiking area. Horse-sled rides are a big attraction. Excellent gourmet food in two nearby restaurants and many other places in the vicinity.

You find shops, cafes and restaurants in St. Jakob (10 min.) as well as in Lienz (30 min.), both lovely alpine towns. Ski area with efficient gondola can be reached in 5 minutes by free ski bus several times a day - or by car. Grandiose sights and lovely slopes for all levels of experience in 2000 m height with the possibility of skiing downhill almost to the house. Near Lienz (30 minutes away) you can spent hot summer days at the beautiful Lake Tristach (Tristacher See), surrounded by forest.

  • Prices are valid for 4 adults. Each additional person over 15 years plus 10 € per day. One week minimum stay during high season, three days during low season. Tourist tax is 1,25 € per person over 15 years and day. Final cleaning is 90 € . If wanted, bed linen and towels can be rented for 7 € per person. Safety deposit 250 €. All utility costs included except heating (heating deposit in winter: 30 € per day - we return the amount you did not use for heating). Pets: 3 € per day. The long Easter weekend is counted as high season; Christmas and New Year as well.
  • Our friendly caretaker will show you the house and be available for any questions during your stay. The washing machine and dishwasher can be used free of charge.

Notes: The new bathroom offers a luxury shower stall with all-around shower as well as a tub, sink, washing machine. It is well-heated and has tasteful tiles. The vanity room (toilet) is separate. Each bedroom has its own sink with hot and cold water, so that the bathroom is only needed for showers. Thus groups can well share the house. There are 2 extra mattresses available for additional guests. Sofa bed available for smaller children. Baby bed available as well as a high chair (no extra charge). All rooms are furnished with charming country antiques. Sandpit in garden. Playground nearby.

Gemütliches, authentisches Bauernhaus

Haus Lenzen ist ein gemütliches, authentisches und sehr geräumiges Bauernhaus. Für allen die die eine historische Atmosphäre zu würdigen wissen, ist Haus Lenzen eine perfekte Wohnung. Die Lage im Defereggental ist ideal, allerdings für Skifahrer: der Skibus haltet gerade neben das Haus und der Talabfahrt endet 100-200 meter vom Haus. "Brunnalm" ist ein sehr schönes Skigebiet, übersichtlich und eben während Fasching sehr ruhig.

Schöner Naturarlaub mit Haustieren

Gemütlich und urtümlich eingerichtetets Ferienhaus. Optimal gelegen zum Skigebiet! Auch für nicht Skifahrer sind super Spazierwege (breit und gewalzt) in nächster Nähe vorhanden.
Das Haus ist sauber und urtümlich, lediglich die etwas kurzen Betten sind zu berücksichtgen.
Uns (2 ERw. 2 kleine Kinder, 2 große HUnde) hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Gerade ein Urlaub mit Haustieren ist dort ideal!
Owner's Response: Ad Bettenlänge - interessant für große Gäste: Ein Doppelbett ist 200 cm lang, 1 Doppelbett 190 cm, ein Schlafsofa und ein Einzelbett ca. 190-200 cm (beide mit offenen Fußenden), die restlichen drei Betten ca. 180 cm (antike Möbel).
