Wir (1 1/2 Familien oder sechs Personen) kamen nach einer Woche Julio (in der Nähe) Ende Juli in dieses wunderbare Haus mit dem schönsten Blick auf die grüne Hügellandschaft des Haute Languedoc. Die Terrasse mit dem Weindach ist nicht zu überbieten. Leider war es nur eine Woche, die wir dort verbringen durften, wir hätten es gut länger ausgehalten, d.h. wir müssen wiederkommen. Es gefiel uns, wie das Haus eingerichtet ist (sehr persönlich und wohnlich), wie es im Dorf liegt, die riesige Wohnküche, in der wir gerne die südfranzösischen Leckereien gekocht haben und der tolle Wanderweg zur Gorges d´Heric. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig, ein paar Fahrräder im Haus wären optimal.

Spacious and practical, beautiful surroundings

The house is beautifully situated, peacefully located and the house itself is very practical, with good, large rooms. Especially the large kitchen is invaluable. The owner of the house sent us detailed information about the house and the location in advance. The village of St. Martin is an ideal starting point for walks on the Caroux mountain, canoeing on the river Orb and cool baths in the mountain streams. Our group of 5 ranged from 63 to 12 in age, and the area offers activities for every age group. Having your own car is absolutely necessary. Parking right outside the house for a small middle sized car is possible, but requires strict manouvering in order to leave enough space for the neighboor's passing car. Unless for loading/unloading the car, parking further down the village is recommended.

Wir haben sowohl im Frühjahr als auch im Herbst in diesem Haus gewohnt. Vor allem hat uns die ruhige Lage des Hauses gefallen, die freundlich individuelle Ausstattung (und wenn es abends schon mal etwas kühler war das Kaminfeuer), das Leben auf der Terrasse unterm Weinlaub, der weite Blick ins Tal und die Möglichkeit vom Ort aus längere Wanderungen oder Fahrten in die geschichtlich und landschaftlich interessante Umgebung zu machen.
Freunden haben wir dieses Haus empfohlen, einige waren bereits mit uns dort - das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz.
Ein Restaurant gefiel uns am besten: Auberge des Gorges de Madale (das jeweilige menu findet sich im Internet).

Für 2 Wochen waren wir Gäste in Ihrem Ferienhaus in St. Martin. Für das besonders gute Wetter können sie vielleicht nichts, wohl aber für das großzügige, gut temperierte und wohnliche Haus.

Unter den etwa 12 Ferienhäusern, die wir in den letzten 20 Jahren in Dänemark als Feriengäste bewohnt haben, sticht Ihr Haus in St. Martin hervor durch seinen ländlichen Charme:
Die abwechslungsreiche Ausstattung und Möblierung - aber alles hochfunktionell - verstärkt diesen Charakter ebenso wie der persönliche Stil, der überall spürbar ist.

So geht das Wohlfühlen schnell, unterstützt durch die große Terasse, auf der wir ausnahmslos unsere Mahlzeiten eingenommen
haben und auch durch die umfangreiche Sammlung an Lesestoff und Nachschlagewerken.

Ihr Haus bekommt daher von uns die "volle Punktzahl" von uns.

Danke auch für die ausführliche Beschreibung der Umgebung und der regionalen Besonderheiten.

absolute Ruhe, genügend Platz um sich zu bewegen, Verzicht auf Schnickschnack. Herrlicher weiter Blick übers Tal, unglaublicher Sternenhimmel nachts - wir konnten uns so richtig entspannen!
