This cosy house furnished to a high standard is available all year. Built 2002 with an extension in 2006 and a guest house in 2007, it is for up to 7 persons. It has 5 rooms and a partial sea view. The house is in 5000 m² of grounds amid unspoilt nature. The house is detached and at the edge of the town of Traryd, very near to Lagan. The ground surface is 83 m² (63 main house and 20 guest house). 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces with garden furniture, grill, living room with fireplace, satellite TV, radio-CD and DVD. Integrated kitchens with fridge, 4x cookers, oven, microwave and dishwasher. One bedroom with double bed, 1 single room with 2 single beds. Guest house with pull-out sofa bed and sleeping loft for max. 3 persons, sauna (free if booked at guest house). The house has a glazed veranda. Your own boat for 4-5 persons and 2 bicycles are included in the price. Sea/bathing 200 m away. Washing machine and fire wood free. Grocery shop approx. 1 km (Mon-Sun 9-21 hrs).

Markaryd commune in the south west of Småland is very popular with German tourists because Germany is just stone’s throw away. There’s a good selection of attractions: how about an elk safari in 'Smålandet', where you can look out of your car into natural surroundings? If you like culture there are many historical churches, stone groups, open air museums and other attractions. The commune is also well known for its large railway museum in Strömsnäsbruk. If you’re a birdwatcher you’ll love Store Mosse national park, where the newly opened nature museum presents all its own fauna and flora from Sweden’s largest moor south of Lappland. Småländ’s creativity has helped glass workshops like Kosta Boda and Orrefors to become famous throughout the world. Nowdays in a radius of only 80 km there are 14 glass workshops all known as the realm of glass. The area around Markaryd is a paradise for anglers and golfers.

Liebe Vermieter, wir haben 2 wunderschöne und sonnige Wochen auf Ihrem Anwesen verbracht. Das Haus begrüßte uns sehr sauber und geschmackvoll. Die Kinder reden immer noch vom Schlafloft unterm Dach, ein echtes highlight. Die Sauna ist sehr gemütlich aber für max. 3 Personen gleichzeitig geeignet. Auch das Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt. Wir sind viel mit dem Boot gefahren - selbst an Schwimmwesten für Kinder ist gedacht. Großes Kompliment. Jeden Abend haben wir vor dem Kamin gesessen; es ist sehr nett, daß sie das ganze Holz unbegrenzt zur Verfügung stellen. Vielen Dank auch für die Mappe mit den Ausflugstips, wir konnten jeden Tag etwas anderes unternehmen. Ein 2. Bad machte den Urlaub noch entspannter, so einen Luxus haben wir nicht einmal zu Hause. Das Haus ist insgesamt ein echter Geheimtip, wir sind froh, sie hier in diesem Portal gefunden zu haben und kommen mit Sicherheit im nächsten Jahr wieder.
Owner's Response: Vielen Dank. Wir werden nochmals genauer darauf hinweisen, daß die Sauna nicht von allen Gästen gleichzeitig genutzt werden kann. Aber besser klein, als auf diesen Komfort zu verzichten - zu Schweden gehört nun mal eine Sauna :-)

3 sehr erholsame Wochen in traumhafter Umgebung. Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht, es fehlt an nichts. Soviele Küchengeräte haben wir nicht mal zuhause. Der eingezäunte Garten war sehr praktisch für unseren neugierigen Hund. Auch die Eltern der Vermieter (als Nachbarn außer Sichtweite) waren sehr hilfsbereit und äußerst zuvorkommend. Obwohl Traryd eher ein verschlafenes Nest ist, gibt es in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung sehr viel reizvolle Ziele. Durch das entspannte Fahren auf autoleeren Straßen, kann man auch grössere Strecken (Stockholm) problemlos bewältigen. An den Strand kann man in Schweden sogar direkt mit dem Auto fahren - WoW !! Das Preisniveau beim Einkaufen ist überraschend ähnlich dem Deutschen. Manche Sachen (Fleisch, Fisch) sind sogar deutlich billiger. Und die 8 min entfernte Räucherei in Hamneda, direkt an der E4, ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Die Sauna - Entspannung pur. Wir kommen wieder, keine Frage...

Wir fanden es genau so, wie im Angebot und in den Bewertungen beschrieben. Der Kontakt und die Betreuung vor Ort waren vorbildlich. Unser Kinder haben sich in die 8 km entfernte JA-Ranch verliebt, ein Reiterhof im Western-Stil, für jeden Pferdeliebhaber geeignet, vom Anfänger bis zum Profi. Man kann vom Haus bequem mit dem Fahrrad dorthin fahren. Insgesamt ein Haus mit überdurchschnittlichem Standard bei einem für schwedische Verhältnisse sehr ansprechendem Preis.

Nach 2 wunderschönen Wochen in Smaland möchten wir hier mal ein großes Lob zur Organisation und Abwicklung äußern. Es begann schon mit der Buchung. Nach online Anfrage hatten wir binnen einer Stunde eine verbindliche Bestätigung mit Angebot. Zwei Tage später war auch schon der Vertrag im Briefkasten (mit frankiertem Rückumschlag !!). Zur Anreise wartete schon der nette Hausmeister mit dem Schlüssel am sehr sauberen !!Ferienhaus, um uns in alles einzuweisen. Er war auch sonst immer für uns erreichbar und sehr hilfreich, da er deutsch und schwedisch spricht und Gott und die Welt kennt. Zur Abreise kam er auch pünktlich vorbei, um den Schlüssel abzunehmen und die Kaution zurück zu zahlen. Wir finden, das allein macht schon 50% eines erholsamen Urlaubes aus und sollte nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Bis zum nächsten Jahr :-)
