Photos and Description of this Santanyi holiday chateau / country house

This finca, which was built and restored in traditional style, is situated in the outer part of Santanyi in a very calm residential quarter. The house is clinkered with field stones. From one side you have a marvellous view to the village with the church; this is especially nice during the night, when the village is illuminated. The new pool (8x4 m) is behind the house, surrounded by a big terrace, which is lovely decorated with plants. A wall secures the whole property. Here you can relax, swim and forget the common days. There also air condition and electrical radial heating, so that everything is well prepared for renting also during autumn/winter/springtime.

This village is situated in the south-east of Mallorca and due to its architectural form it could preserve the original flair. There are some small restaurants, street cafés, grocery shops, a wide range of shops, medical care, pharmacy, some interesting sight-seeing points etc., so that surely all your requests will be met. Besides this, there are fiestas and weekly markets (Wednesday and Saturday) during the whole year.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The basic price is valid for 4 persons/night. Each further guest has to pay € 10,--/night. Final cleaning will be charged with € 75,--. While starting the renting period a deposit of € 150,-- is required. This will be given back after your holidays, provided, that everything was kept in good condition. Cleaning and change of bed linen will be done weekly. Beach towels will also be set at your disposal. Maintenance of pool and garden on request. The Mallorquin house-owners herself will do the service. Firewood can be bought in the nearby garden centre.
  • In case of final booking you will receive by e-mail or post a confirmation, a special description how to reach the house and information about the car, if rented one. After having received this, a payment on account of 30 % of the total sum has to be transferred on the owner´s account. The remaining amount has to be paid on arrival. If possible, someone (English speaking) is prepared to meet you on arrival at each day or night time to welcome you, hand over the keys and give you a short explanation of special house details. This person also is allowed by the owner of the house to cash the remaining amount against receipt.
    We want you to feel secure as having booked your holiday house via internet.

Notes: You’ll reach this finca with two floors by a small way from the village. A patio, decorated with different flowers forms the entry. In the ground floor is the kitchen with one little dining table in front of the window, another place for dining can be found in the hall. There is one bedroom with two single beds with bathroom (bidet/WC) next door. One living-room with fire-place is in the centre of the house, from which you’ll come to the big pool-terrace behind the house, which is protected against views from outside. The main bathroom with little bath-tub is left side from the entry hall. Two different stairs lead you to the first floor. On one hand there is one further bedroom with two single beds, on the other hand there is one sleeping gallery with single bed, seating accommodations and a separate room with bidet/WC. The bigger bedroom has one French bed. In each bedroom wardrobes are installed. This comfortably equipped finca is an ideal place for families with children.

Beaches nearby: Cala Santanyi: Lots of possibilities to get a walk along the extraordinary steep coast. E.g. you´ll see some rocks forming of a gate, the so-called “El Portas”, which can often be found on holiday cards. Below in the naturally kept bay you´ll find a quiet fine-sandy beach. Cala Llombards: Here are four bays in the near surrounding with sensationally clear water. Cala Mondrago: This is the biggest beach nearby and is kept under natural protection. Here are only two little hotels. It also is a good start for having a walk to some archaeological points. S’Aramador: Can be reached easily by feet or car from Cala Figuera and offers good conditions for families with children as it is going down slightly from the beach into the water. Deckchairs and sunshades can be rented. Some pines also give a little bit of shade. A small way connects two bays.

Information for golfers: Only 15 km away from the house you’ll find the very exclusive “Marriott’s Golf Antem I & II Resort”. 10 km away “Val d’Or”, one of the best-known golf resorts of Mallorca with its recently restored clubhouse and the marvellous views to Cala d’Or and the harbour of Porto Colom. This resort offers special golf courses for small groups in English, Spanish or German language on request as well as for beginners as for advanced players. Even for non-golfers a visit of this impressive area is worthwhile.

Ursprüngliche gut renovierte Finca in der Nähe von Santanyi. Wir waren total begeistert, weil wir den ursprünglichen Stil einer solchen Finca lieben. Von aussen meint man nicht , dass es innen so liebevoll gemacht ist. Für 4 Personen ideal. In der näheren Umgebung einige schöne Strände die in Kürze mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Schönes kleines Örtchen und ein großer Supermarkt ( Eroski ) direkt an der Einfahrt im Kreisel. Dort bekommt man fast alles, vor allem leckeren frischen Fisch von der Theke. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir können diese Finca nur wärmstens empfehlen! Das Haus ist urig , sauber und super gepflegt. Man findet alles, wie im Internet beschrieben, vor. Die deutsche Ansprechparntnerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Auch die spanischen Hausbesitzer sind sehr freundlich und diskret. Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen, während wir noch sanft träumten, sauber gemacht und nach einer Woche gab es frische Bettwäsche und Handtücher.
Ein rundum schöner Urlaub in dem wir uns super erholt haben. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Echtes mallorquinisches Haus, liebevoll renoviert, top gepflegt. Das Haus ist charmant verwinkelt, was somit den Vorteil von Rückzugsmöglichkeiten hat.
Besonders erwähnen möchten wir den schönen gemauerten Grillplatz, welcher gerade im Urlaub die Küche ersetzt - ebenso wie den gepflegtestenen Pool, den wir in langjähriger Ferienhaus - Erfahrung je hatten. Vom Haus aus kann man jeden Tag einen anderen Traumstrand erkunden (vorher mit Karten eindecken oder Navi mitnehmen!). Reichlich Restaurants finden sich im Ort, in Ses Salines oder Cala Figuera.

Eine schöne ausreichend ausgestattete Finca, ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Hier ist man für sich und kann nach Herzenslust im Pool toben. Wir waren schon zum 2. Mal in der Finca und fühlen uns immer gleich im Urlaub. Auto ist erforderlich. Santanyi bietet alles, tolle kleine Restaurants, einen schönen Marktplatz und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Ideal für Familien mit Kindern
Die Angaben in der Beschreibung waren alle korrekt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und kümmern sich auch selbst um das Haus. Der Pool wird jeden morgen, wenn die Gäste noch schlafen, sauber gemacht. Einmal in der Woche wird das Haus nach vorheriger Absprache gereinigt und man bekommt neue Handtücher.
Santanyi ist ein sehr schönes nicht sehr touristisches Dorf. Man sollte in jedem Fall ein Auto haben um an die Strände und in den Ort zu kommen. Ins Dorf kann man zwar auch laufen aber die Strecke ist nicht so schön.
Am Dorfplatz gibt es 5 Restaurants bzw. Bars, wo man auch Kleinigkeiten essen kann. Die Kinder können auf dem Platz auch prima spielen. Mittwochs und Samtags gibt es in einer Bar Live-Musik. In der Umgebung gibt es auch einige sehr gute Restaurants Es Clos, Bacco, Pur Vida.
