Our 4 star holiday home is situated in the spa area of Birkendorf, on a 4956 square meter site, in a quiet location (cul-de-sac). There is a swimming lake in the area (the entry is free). A golf course is located close by, along with wooded areas for walking such as the Wutach gorge, Lake Schluchsee , Feldberg, Titisee lake and of course, Switzerland. Or why not take a bus tour with buses to Zürich and the Alpine passes?

The apartment has everything you will need. The living room is comfortably furnished. We have guests who have rented this apartment for the thirtieth time and keep coming back because they just love it here. The television can be comfortably viewed from the bed and the east balcony invites you to breakfast in the open and is protected by the roof. Bread delivery is provided on weekdays. In the living room there is a large wardrobe and in the bathroom, you will find another smaller wardrobe. Cosily decked out with 4 chairs and a table, outside, there are more than enough parking spaces. In the garden there is a summer house, carport, barbecue area and a table tennis area, all situated on a large 4956 square meter site.

Uhlingen-Birkendorf is divided into 8 different townships. We are situated in the township of Birkendorf which is the largest with 1200 inhabitants. It is 800 m above sea level. We are a climatic spa, voted Germany's prettiest town in 1973. Shopping facilities include an Edeka supermarket with baker and butcher's shops and general groceries. The area has a beautiful swimming lake; entry is free with playing facilities and much more. We are situated in a quiet area, a cul-de-sac, 100 m from a wooded area, 900 m from the swimming lake and 50 m from the house is a hotel with an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a health spa, a beautiful wooded area for hiking rounds everything off nicely. In Switzerland, you can fill up on petrol for 20 to 25 percent cheaper. The Swiss border is only 9 miles away, the town of Feldberg only 15.5 miles away, Schluchsee Lake is only 8 miles away, Lake Titisee only 17 miles away and Zürich airport is 40 miles away.

Notes: This holiday apartment is located in the top floor of the house. It has a large one-room living area with double bed and is nicely furnished with wood paneling, a large window facing the east side of the house, with a beautiful view out onto the garden and a fish pond. The living room contains amongst other things, two armchairs, a kitchen table with chairs, satellite television receiver, video recorder, radio, and telephone. An Alno built-in-kitchen is located at the end of the corridor with 4 ring hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, espresso maker and much more. There is also a large shower and toilet.

Golf, cross country, ski-lifts: An 18 hole golf course is located 5 kilometers away on the upper Alp, an ideal area for bike tours, cross country skiing, Nordic walking, etc. The use of the swimming lake is free, and the air has natural healing properties. Pure nature with forests and fields. Ski-lifts in Brenden, Rothaus, Altglasshutten, Feldberg and Hinterzarten, swimming lake in the area, Schlüchtsee and Titisee lakes all in the region. Free travel with Konus, which means with the “spa card” you get free travel in the whole region, Basel, Waldshut etc.

“Now we feel at home again”: We have many guests that spend their vacation with us for the 10th or even the 40th time and when they arrive they say: “Now we feel at home again”

Ski: Ski-lifts in Hinterzarten, Feldberg, Altglasshutten and in Brünlisbach(Rothaus), Brenden.

Zum ersten Mal gebucht und beeindruckt . Sehr sauberes Ferienhaus mit allem ausgestattet was von Nöten ist. Hinzu kommt noch die nette und liebe Art des Vermieterpaars , so daß wir uns rundum sehr Wohl gefühlt
haben.

Auch in diesem Jahr haben wir wie jeden Sommer - seit 28 Jahren - hier unseren Urlaub verbracht. Mittlerweile sind wir mit dem Vermieterehepaar befreundet und unternehmen gemeinsame Ausflüge, Wanderungen und Besichtigungen, die aber auch für alle anderen Feriengäste von den Vermietern organisiert werden. Durch Grillabende oder gemütliches Beisammensein vor dem Haus oder im Garten kommt auch sehr schnell ein guter Kontakt mit den anderen Feriengästen zustande. Inzwischen verfügt die Pension Schropp über einen festen "Gästestamm", den man jedesmal gerne wiedersieht. Die Wohnungen sind immer in einem gepflegten Zustand und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Darüber hinaus sind die Vermieter ihren Gästen gegenüber stets bemüht, deren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten - und dieses gelingt ihnen in jeder Hinsicht.
In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft besteht ein qualitativ hervorragendes Wellnessangebot.

Owner's Response: auch diese familie kommt jedes jahr 3 wochen, schon bei der ankunft kommt die aussage, so jetzt sind wir wieder zu hause und fühlen uns wohl, dies ist für uns eines
der besten komplimente, denn zufriedene gäste kehren
wieder zu uns und sie haben auch schon wieder für das
nächste jahr fest gebucht. hier findet das 2 gewinner
prinzip statt und das ist positiv und wir freuen uns auf solch nette gäste. inzwischen haben wir einen stamm mit
gästen die vielfach über 20 bis 40 mal zu uns gekommen sind.

Osterurlaub in Birkendorf

Seit nunmehr 22 Jahren fahren wie ein bis zweimal jährlich nach Birkendorf. Erstmals 1986 mit unser damals 6 Monate alten Tochter. Auch heute noch macht unsere Tochter mit uns in der Pension Schropp Urlaub. Besonders angenehm ist die herzliche Aufnahme durch die Vermieter. In dieser Zeit haben wir alle Ferienwohnungen, die sehr geschmackvoll und vollständig eingerichtet sind, bewohnt. Auch weiterhin werden wir dieses Urlaubsziel gerne buchen.
