The Algarve for individualists! This is the only villa on the 'Quinta dos Valados', a 2 hectare estate, situated on a hill with a view to the Atlantic. It has a luxury equipment on a living space of 115 sqm, with own sun terraces about 400 sqm partly covered area 90 sqm. The estate is located in a quiet rural area, near the marina of Albufeira, and surrounded by cypress, almond and fig trees. The lovingly designed and maintained Mediterranean/ subtropical garden with a huge lawn and shady carobs invite you to relax. The chlorine-free swimming pool has a length of 25 mn and with its curved shape it fits perfectly into the garden area. The large swimming pool is ideal for sportive swimming and is filled with soft and not irritable water suitable for skin and eyes. Those who love silence and tranquillity will enjoy themselves in quiet surroundings, which guarantee relaxing holidays without every-day-stress.

Your holiday destination-the Algarve- impresses with a sunny but mild climate, its fascinating Mediterranean plants, the unique and beautiful coastline with the typical bizarre rocky reefs and long beaches with small sand bays. Despite the remote location, you can reach all important leisure and shopping facilities within a few minutes by car. Due to the proximity to the sea and the hilly location (height 146 m) there is always a light breeze in high summer - even in hot summer nights there are pleasant temperatures with little humidity. In winter, the vegetation revives and turns the country into a sea of green and colourful flowers, in particular during the almond flowering season at the end of January, the trees look like as if they were covered with snow. It is also a unforgettable paradise for sportsmen, golfers and those who are interested in learning golf. You will find 11 golf courses close to the villa -- there is no golf course further than 20 -30 minutes by car.

Supermarkets / Shopping Malls: Just 10 minutes away there is one of the biggest shopping centres of South Europe, the 'Algarve-Shopping-Center'. A big supermarket with 138 boutiques, 38 restaurants and small cafés invite you to stroll and shop. You can easily stay the whole day in this huge centre without getting bored.

Restaurants: When choosing the restaurants we deliberately listed 4 restaurants with a good price-performance ratio, where not only the quality and price is good but you also get rich interesting dishes. This is not always the case in the Algarve. Near the Villa, just 5 minutes away, there is the first gourmet restaurant, the 'Veneza', with excellent wines, which you can also try can buy in it's own bodega. The cuisine is famous for its delicious crustaceans, which you can choose from a big basin. The 2. restaurant nearby is in Paderne, the 'Moiras Encantadas' (translation : enchanted Moors) and is an inside tip for gourmets. In the romantic atmosphere of a roman cellar with round arches the chef serves you the most delicious national and international dishes. His art of cooking was awarded with the third place in a national competition.

Golf: The Algarve: it is not only known for its beaches and swimming, subtropical mild climate and sun in winter but also, due to it's moderate climate, for a golf paradise. A sport which attracts more and more people and isn't reserved to a minority anymore. You can play golf even in winter. The lawn is green, is well maintained in order to play and you can play the whole year. The Algarve is referred to as 'Terra de Golf' or 'Land of Golf'. 11 of the 23 golf courses of the Algarve can be reached via a good infrastructure within 20-30 minutes from the Villa. Erholsame Ferien in luxuriösem Ambiente

Wir können ohne Vorbehalte sagen, dass alle Angaben in der Beschreibung zutreffen. In diesem, in einem wunderschönen Park gelegenen Domizil, kann man sich nur wohlfühlen. Abseits vom touristischen Treiben (Albufeira - grauenhaft) findet man hier eine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung mit allem, was man benötigt.
Unterkunft: sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet
Anlage: großzügige Terrassen, weitläufiges Grundstück,ein Wahnsinns-Pool (chlorfrei), aufgrund der Ausmaße zum Schwimmen und nicht nur zum Planschen
Vermieter: sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit, obwohl auf dem Grundstück wohnend, unaufdringlich, aber ansprechbar, wenn notwendig.
Auto: unverzichtbar
Kurzum ein Urlaubsziel zum Wohlfühlen. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Wir ( 57 + 54 Jahre ) haben uns bei Familie Hamann sehr wohl gefühlt und die herrliche Lage sowie den traumhaften Pool ( chlorfrei !! ) genossen. Auch haben wir es geschätzt, dass die Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit, dabei jedoch völlig unaufdringlich sind. Wen es nicht stört, dass die Entfernung zu den Stränden mit dem Auto ca. 20-30 Min. beträgt und auch ein Restaurant-Besuch nur per Auto möglich ist, der ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir haben es meist vorgezogen, am Abend zu grillen oder zu kochen und die schöne Aussicht und die Ruhe auf uns wirken zu lassen. Für Leute, welche zum erstenmal an die Algarve fahren ein idealer Standpunkt, um die Umgebung kennenzulernen.

Wir waren Ende Mai 2009 für 14 Tage auf der Quinta dos Valados zu Gast.Ein wahrhaft wunderbarer Ort für Erholung und Entspannung. Die großzügigen und sehr gepflegten Räumlichkeiten, der wunderschöne und riesige Pool, der umwerfende Garten und die sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber ließen die 14 Tage viel zu schnell vergehen.Absolut empfehlenswert für alle die Luxus, Ruhe und Entspannung für ihren Urlaub benötigen. Die Quinta ist ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für jede Menge Ausflüge.
Wir werden wieder kommen....

Eine Oase zum Wohlfühlen

Wir (2 Ehepaare) wollten mit dem Auto die Algarve erkunden und gleichzeitig dem Massentourismus entgehen. Das ist uns gelungen. Als wir mit dem Mietauto
über eine abenteuerliche Straße unsere Ferienunterkunft erreichten erwartete uns eine großzügige Ferienwohnung mit herrlich weitläufiger Terrasse und einem wunderschönen Blick in die Landschaft. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit einheimischen Köstlichkeiten zur Begrüßung. Jedes Paar hatte ein gemütliches Schlafzimmer mit Bad, so räumlich voneinander getrennt, dass man sich nicht gegenseitig störte. Die Ferinenwohnung liegt auf einem sehr gepflegten und an einen Botanischen Garten erinnernden riesigen Grundstück. Jeden Morgen auf der Sonnenterrasse frühstücken, abends beim Grillen den Sonnenuntergang genießen und nachts den Sternenhimmel bewundern, das war toll. In Anbetracht einer so schönen Anlage wurde unsere Erkundungslust etwas ausgebremst und kamen wir von unseren Ausflügen zurück freuten wir uns auf unsere Oase. Als Allergiker konnten wir endlich mal einen chlorfreien Swimmingpool nutzen. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und haben uns den Urlaub ungestört genießen lassen. Wir konnten mit dem Auto in alle Himmelsrichtungen der Algarve ausschwärmen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es genug und auch mal in die unmittelbare Gegend erwandern hat uns die Natur so richtig nahe gebracht. Für einen Entspannungsurlaub zu zweit, zu viert, aber auch als Ausgangspunkt für viele Abenteuertouren ist diese Ferienwohnung ideal, aber ein Auto sollte man schon haben. Wir würden immer wieder diese Unterkunft wählen, besonders weil man mit viel Sonne verwöhnt wird.
Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Vermieter für einen herrlichen Urlaub.

Tolles Quartier an der Algarve

Endlich einmal ein Quartier, das hält, was es verspricht! Idyllisch ruhige Lage inmitten eines schön angelegten parkähnlichen Gartens mit Palmen. Großer Pool, großzügige Terrasse mit Blick Richtung Küste. Die große für sich liegende Wohnung ist modern und liebevoll ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Es gab einen angenehmen Reinigungsservice, häufigen Handttuchwechsel auf Wunsch. Die Betreuung durch das (deutsche) Vermieter-Ehepaar war sehr nett. So war z.B. der Kühlschrank zur Begrüßung schon gefüllt! Die Wohnung eignete sich optimal für Erkundungsfahrten der Algarve mit ihren tollen Stränden, Steilküsten und den schönen Orten Faro, Lagos, Tavira und in das landschaftlich schöne Hinterland. PKW unverzichtbar! Sehr anzuraten: eine Zugfahrt vom nahen Bahnhof nach Lissabon!
Wir haben uns in dieser schönen Umgebung so wohl gefühlt, dass wir noch häufiger wiederkommen werden. Insgesamt also sehr empfehlenswert für einen individuellen und entspannten Urlaub. SF und HF aus Hamburg
