Our small ‘vacation village’ has a vacation apartment (approx. 45 m²), a block house with around 80 m² and 2 smaller block houses with around 70 m², and it is located in the sunny South of Harz. Directly in front of the house, there are large fields and woods for you to relax while hiking or biking.

The block house 1 was newly rebuilt in 2002. It has around 80 m² and is suitable for 6 people. The rooms are disposed on 2 floors. On the ground floor, you will find a large living room with access to the terrace and a small garden. Satellite TV and radio/CD/ cassette player are available. There is a comfortable kitchen and a shower bathroom. On the upper floor, there are 2 bedrooms. The big bedroom has a double bed and a small lounge, as well as a balcony. The smaller bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed.

Bad Sachsa is a state-approved spa resort, which is very beneficial for your health thanks to its climate. It is also ideal for winter sports and it is located in the close vicinity of Steina, which is also a state-approved spa, in the South of Harz, between Bad Lauterberg and Nordhausen. The sunny South of the Harz Mountains is very appealing to spa guests, sport lovers, hikers and people looking for recreation. Bad Sachsa and Steina have facilities for leisure activities: vacation parks, hostels, sun-light therapy, the water park ‘Salztal-Paradies’, fairy tale land, Harz hawk park, museum of glass, national and frontier museum, boat rentals, guided hiking trails and bike tours, etc. Since 2001 a skating rink is available as well.

New House-Great Relaxing Location

We stayed a week. Very relaxing. Beautiful home. Very comfortable. Worth the money spent. Great place tlo have dogs. We had a little fenced in yard with a comfy paito area. Kitchen well stocked. House was very clean. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are outstanding! Restaurant in Steina was very good food. We walked a lot with our dogs. There are a lot wonderful places to walk and people are friendly. It was great to be submerged in the German culture. The only English speaking person was the chef at the restaurant in Steina, which was great for us to practice our German speaking skills. I would recommend and return to this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful mountain area. It was a very spendid family bonding week.
