Photos and Description of this Barbentane holiday house

The house was built and furnished for us so that we wouldn't see it as a holiday house. Everything makes a very unique impression and we have been able to put our decades-long love for the province into this house. Even if a former renter missed an espresso cup, we still didn't buy one, because we found it more important that our guests have the feeling that everything is so well prepared, as if we are greeting them personally.

Nearest Train: Avignon-Stadt und TGV-Bahnhof at 8 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Avignon-Sud at 16 Kilometres

Provence - even the name captivates the world. And Barbentane - more than a holiday here, where the sun caresses the roofs. A blessed landscape. And our house is exceptionally suitable as a base for getting to know the diversity of the landscape, the richness of the cultural heritage and savoir vivre in a maelstrom of colours, taste and scents. 'Our village', only 8 km southwest of Avignon, is also famous for its castle. Fruit and vegetable crops all around. There are local places to shop for daily necessities. Avignon with music and theatre festivals, even small neighbouring villages with their traditional markets and votive festivals. St. Remy, Les Baux and Arles are nearby. Vaucluse and Luberon are great for day tours by bike and/or car.

Ihre Wohnung ist die beste, die wir in den ganzen Jahren hatten! Mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet - an alles ist gedacht, was man im Urlaub brauchen könnte. Viel Stauraum für Kleidung und eine supergut ausgestattete Küche. Auch der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne wiederkommen. D. Th. Wuppertal. Wir haben Ihr Haus diesmal als Basis für die Erkundung von Vaucluse und Luberon genutzt. Der gute Geschmack bei der Ausstattung des Hauses hat uns erneut sehr erfreut. D. Th., Wuppertal. Im Juni 2005 haben wir anlässlich eines Besuches 'Wisuwuk' kennen gelernt. Jetzt im Juli 2007 sitzen wir auf der Terrasse und essen Olivenkuchen, den Sie uns vor Ihrer Abreise gebacken haben.. Ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen

Das schöne Haus Wisuwuk hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Es ist nicht nur alles da, was man braucht, sondern es hat durch die liebevoll gestaltete Einrichtung eine Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Es ist, als wäre man bei freundlichen Menschen zu Gast.
Die Lage ist hervorragend für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen geeignet und die Reiselektüre, die im Haus vorhanden ist, bietet mehr als genug Informationen für einen erlebnisreichen Urlaub. Im schönen Garten und auf der Terrasse konnten wir uns abends erholen. Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Umgebung.
Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen!
Owner's Response: Im Eingangsbereich unseres Hauses ist zu lesen, dass alles was mit Provence zu tun hat,mir gefällt, und für jedes Wort darüber wünsche ich mir 1000 weitere. Ich freue mich immer wieder darüber, dass unsere Gäste dieses spüren.

Wir haben im "wisuwuk" 2 wunderschöne, ruhige Wochen verbracht! das Haus ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen- super ausgestattet, sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Barbentane ist ein hervorragender Standort um Ausflüge in die umliegenden Orte, den Luberon oder die naheliegende Camargue zu unternehmen.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen!
p.s. Ein Auto ist in jedem Fall zu empfehlen.

Superurlaub

Wir haben im Juni 2008 zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen in Ihrem schönen, sehr individuell und persönlich eingerichteten, Ferienhaus verbracht. In diesem Ambiente haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet, es fehlte uns an nichts.
Wenn es in der Sonne zu heiß war, konnte man sich auf die gemütliche beschattete Terrasse zurückziehen und den Blick in den blühenden Garten genießen und auch den Tag bei einem Glas Wein ausklingen lassen. Vom Haus aus kann man schöne Radtouren machen, je nach Kondition im "Flachland" oder Richtung Montagnette. Es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um die umliegenden Städte und Dörfer zu erkunden. Über die Autobahn erreicht man sogar Marseille in ca einer Stunde. Kurzum, "Wisuwuk" ist u.E. als Urlaubsdomizil empfehlenswert.
