This newly built 2004 holiday house within an old garden on a hill with a fabulous view, from where you can look to the three countries around the lake, to the Alps and the picturesque village of Wasserburg. It is exclusively furnished in a colonial style with genuine massive wood furniture and Nepal-carpets and a lot of exotic accessories from all over the world. You dive in a complete other world if you choose to spend your holidays in this house, stylish and scenic. Even if the weather is not that good you may experience the view and the ambience and you have enough playing material in the house and a library, so you can enjoy your holidays anyway. The living rooms are spacious enough, even for a big family, so everybody can pick himself a nice corner to stay. The household has a good quality and is plenty equipped. The compound is seperate and there is much space and lawn at the forest for playing etc.

The house is located outside the village, but nearby at the edge of a forest. The village and the lake are app. 1-2 km away; by bike you need 3 min., by car 2 min, by foot 10-20 min. The public open-air swimming pool is open and heated from April to September and is newly constructed as an adventure pool. Very picturesque towns and villages are the islands of Lindau and Mainau, Schachen with a big elegant very old park, Peninsula Wasserburg, Castle of Langenargen, Meersburg. The historic Constance has got a Sealife. Ravensburg (30km) is historic town as well and has a very interesting children adventure park. On a mountain near Bregrenz 15km you find an ornithological station with an eagle show with another view to the island of Lindau. Not to forget the famous 'Bregenzer Festspiele', an open air musical or opera performance. Austria and Switzerland are nearby and are reached within half an hour, as well as the Allgäuer Alps. There is a bike trail around the lake and a Zeppelinmuseum

  • The upper bathroom is an elegant type with a big corner tub, a hidden toilette and a big glass shower easy to step in. It is designed with maritime underwater-motives and completely tiled up to the ceiling. Towels are included which can be warmed at the heating. A hairdryer and a cosmetic mirror to size up for your convenience are available.

  • The small bedroom is behind the parents´ “Bamboo” sleeping room. There are enough cupboards with many drawers to arrange your laundry and cloth properly. The sleeping rooms are upstairs on the back of the house and directed to the forest. The only noise you might hear, are the birds from the forest. The mattresses are high quality and new. Three beds have the newly developed memory foam for a comfortable relaxing sleep. The two other beds are good as well, made out of cold foam with five different zones. The sleeping couches in the living room have a good standard as well. The couch for two persons is under the stair downstairs, close to the guest toilet. The other is upstairs between the living room and the office. There are German quilts with duvet cover, for summer and warmer ones for wintertime. They are good for allergic sufferers.

Notes: This is a very special house with an exquisite tasteful furnishing and equipment. There is only massive rare wood furniture in a special style. The kitchen is made of massive cherry wood and has many tools and appliances. There are different and lots of fine china in the cupboards and all types of different crystal glasses for any kind of beverages. The bar with some wine and liquor is included! The dining room is furnished in a Spanish colonial style, from where you have the view as well as in the upper living room. Together with the tiffany ceiling fan and different decoration amphora etc. it makes an exotic feeling. The upper living room is more like South American colonial and Indian style and very spacious and has many different books. In the bed room “Africa” comes to you including the literature! You come to Southeast Asia if you go in the 'parent bedroom'. The bamboo furniture came from Indonesia, Decoration from Malaysia, Philippines and Australia.
