The delightful Périgord manor house is situated in 1.8 hectares of private land with a lot of giant old trees, a large lake (fishing allewed) and a private pool. When it is more than 30 degrees in the shade outside, the thick stone walls of the house keep it wonderfully cool inside. The house is comfortably furnished with all modern comforts. The property is perfectly positioned for peace and quiet and yet only a 2 minutes car drive from La Force and in a 10 minutes car drive from Bergerac, where you can find all facilities.

The region is famous for its different music festivals classical and jazz which attract musicians from all the world. You will find many antique fairs, local markets and wine festivals and tasting's which are well organized, which will help you to make your visit enjoyable and memorable. The region is famous for its 'cuisine'. Restaurants give extremely good value for money. Wide choice in the medieval 'Bastides' district. Bergerac has a Saturday morning market and it's pleasant to walk around. Périguex cathedral designed by the architect of Sacre Coeur in Paris is a beautiful backdrop to the Wednesday morning market and the town has some excellent food shops. Castillon la Bataille, place of the final great battle of the Hundred Years War. Reconstitution of the great battle in a great night spectacle every year in July and August. Visit to the vineyards of Monbazillac just outside Bergerac and a trip to St. Emilion make a good day out.

ein Haus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt, inmitten eines riesigen Parks mit herrlichem Parkbestand, einem großen Teich zum Fischen, ein großer Swimmingpool, alles sehr gepflegt.

Für Urlaub in der Großfamilie, aber auch für wenige Personen, die Ruhe, Erholung, Großzügigkeit schätzen, und das in einer Region, die für alle etwas bietet. Kulinarische Genüsse, Golf, Kultur.

Nur zu empfehlen!

2 unvergessliche Sommerwochen, die wir dort zu siebt verbracht haben. Großartiger Park, ein sauberer Pool und ein wundervoller See.
Auch die Ausstattung im Haus ließ keine Wünsche offen.
