This small stone house is located about 2 km from the center of Montescudaio. Surrounded by a naturally preserved 3000 m² property with old oak trees and olive trees, between the trees you will enjoy a stunning panorama view above the hills reaching to the Etruscan coast. The house was restored from a stable to a charming vacation home that is an ideal space to rest and relax on 50 m². A glass door leads to a light living/dining room with a sleeper sofa and an open fireplace. It has a well-equipped kitchenette with a walled kitchen block. The bedroom is separated from the living room with a movable wooden wall. Bathroom with WC and shower cubicle. Central heating makes it possible to use the house during the low season. A glass door leads from the living room to a covered wooden patio with garden furniture located on the backside of the house offering complete seclusion and privacy.

Montescudaio is a small, romantic city just 12 km from the sea and the Etruscan coast. It is located on the hills of Pisa, behind Cecina and is an agro-tourism center. It was an important castle during the medieval times and renaissance due to its strategic location. You can still enjoy a breath-taking panoramic view from the castle walls and especially from the old tower “la Guardiola”. Especially on clear days, your eyes can reach from the river of Cecina, the blue Tyrrhenian Sea with its islands of Capraia, Gorgona and Elba to the highest summit of the island of Corsica. The geographic location and natural environment offer alternative hill/sea tourism. Montescudaio has a beautifully preserved village center and invites people to take a look around in its alleys. You can observe people on the Piazza while enjoying a cappuccino and savor and enjoy food from typical restaurants.

Idylle in der Toskana

Schon alleine der Empfang an unserem Anreisetag durch Casa&Colline war einfach super! Sonntag Abend bei strömendem Regen wurden wir durch Daniela S. äußerst freundlich empfangen! Am nächsten Tag waren wir bei herrlichem Sonnenschein absolut begeistert von diesem kleinen Häuschen und dem riesengroßen Grundstück. Vor dem Haus kann man (bei guter Sicht) das Meer sehen, auf der Terrasse hinter dem Haus lässt es sich wunderbar relaxen, da absolut uneinsehbar. Umgeben von wunderschöner Natur kann man hier die Seele baumeln lassen und ist trotzdem in wenigen Minuten in dem wunderschönen Ort Montescudaio mit seinen schönen Gassen und Restaurants. Zum Einkaufen und an den wunderschön gelegenen Strand in Cecina fährt man ca. 20 min. Dort gibt es dann einen Lidl, Spar, Coop usw. Nun zum Haus: es ist wirklich nur für max. 3 Personen geeignet, dafür jedoch wunderschön gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es ist wirklich ALLES vorhanden, was man zum Leben braucht: Küche komplett mit Gasherd, Kühlschrank, Gefrierfach, Besteck, Geschirr samt Gläser usw.usw. TV nur italienische Programme, da keine SAT-Schüssel vorhanden. Die Bilder entsprechen absolut dem, was einen erwartet, nämlich ein gepflegtes und absolut ausreichend großes und möbliertes putziges Häuschen zum wohlfühlen!!! Alles war sauber und gepflegt, allerdings wären ein paar schönere Gartenmöbel (Holz anstatt weißes Plastik) und ein neuer Grill wünschenswert. Der Pkw kann im Grundstück abgestellt werden, allerdings muß man zum Haus ein paar Meter laufen, was für uns jedoch kein Problem war. Wir waren mit unserem Hund dort und auch der hat sich sauwohl gefühlt! Die Lage des Hauses ist eigentlich optimal, jedoch kann man (zumindest mit Hund) keine langen Spaziergänge machen, da alle Wege irgendwann in einer Sackgasse enden (Privatgrundstücke). Ansonsten wäre zu erwähnen, dass wir dort sehr gut und lang geschlafen und uns auch sonst sehr wohlgefühlt haben! Wir würden jederzeit wieder im La Ginestra unseren Urlaub in der Toskana verbringen, da es bis auf ein paar wenige Kleinigkeiten wirklich traumhaft dort ist!

Erholung pur!

Wenn ihr in Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit erholsame Tage verbringen wollt,seid ihr in La Ginestra genau richtig. Die Beschreibung des kleinen Häuschens sowie der Umgebung sind zu 100 Prozent zutreffend. Das Steinhaus selbst, ideal für zwei, nicht mehr, ist rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Küche verfügt über alle notwendigen Utensilien. Wir haben lediglich eine Fliegenpatsche vermiss ...
Montescudaio ist ein wunderhübscher, gepflegter Ort mit aufgeschlossenen, freundlichen Menschen, allen voran Daniela von Case e Colline, die mit guten Tipps und Infos keine Fragen unbeantwortet lässt.
Baden kann man sehr gut in Cecina, Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung nach Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano und Siena sind ohne Probleme mit dem Auto möglich.
Wer die Toskana erleben und das Meer nicht missen möchte, sollte nach Montescudaio reisen!

Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen!

Wer als Selbstverpfleger Ruhe und Erholung in idyllischer Umgebung mit herrlichem Rundumblick sucht und ein Naturliebhaber ist, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.
Das Grundstück ist auf einer Hügellanschaft mit Olivenbäumen, wilden Kräutern und ist naturbelassen.
Das Haus ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Inneneinrichtung hat allerdings schon ein paar Jahre auf den Buckel. Man erwarte kein Luxus oder 1A Zustand. Alles ist jedoch funktionstüchtig, sauber und sinnvoll. Man sollte mobil sein. Von hier aus kann man mit dem Auto sehr schöne Ausflüge machen.
Eine gute Betreuung seitens ortsansässiger Reise-Agentur ist gewährleistet und bietet bei Bedarf die Möglichkeit, auch vor Ort kleine Probleme schnell und unkompliziert zu lösen.
