Just one note to the village of Pareti::
Pareti is a small colony at the sea which mainly contains of private houses and which has a plane sandy beach. Two small hotels (Hotel Dino and Hotel Stell Maris), the Bed & Breakfast Miramar and our apartments Casa del Sole. You are welcome to eat in the very recommended Hotel Dino even if you are not guest of this hotel. Typical local dishes are their specialties – mostly fish or seafood. The terrace of the restaurant with wonderful view to the bay of Pareti and Morcone invites you to a visit. The Hotel Stella Maris is situated directly at the beach with its beach bar. You can rent sunshades and sunlounger at the reception. For diving friends a dive club Il Corsaro is available (Jaques Mayol got his world record here at the coast) at the beach.
Just one note to the village of Pareti::
The street of Pareti – it really exists only one road with some small way to the houses – is only 500/600 metres long and a dead-end street. We do only have adjacent owner traffic with only slow motion because of so many curves. You see, familiar atmosphere is not only found in the Casa del Sole but generally also in Pareti. Here, lots of families spend their holidays because of the this ‘simple at home’-feeling.
Our climate:
Enjoy about 300 sunny days in the year at Elba! Since March it rains once in a while but there are also many sunny and mild days with spring temperatures which lure the guests. In spring, the nature will be reactivated and flowers sprout without any particular care as well. Everything shines in a colourful light. The increasing humidity in the summer time let fade away the colours of the flora but the island will ever be green. The month from middle March until end of May and again from September until end of October are very suited for activities. Bathing is normally appropriate from end of May until end of October.
Golf:
The Golf Club of Acquabona is only 10 km away from Pareti and is situated on half way between Capoliveri and Portoferraio. A hilly course partially with a view to the picturesque bay of Portoferraio is available. The Golf Club has a length of 5144 metres and provides a 9-whole course with double par and par 68.
