Are you looking for something special? Quietness and independency? It is a new (end of June 2005), modern furnished, light-flooded terrace house. The owner is a former architect who worked independently in Switzerland and lives next-door since a few years. Together with his wife he developed many little details. The house lies raised with a beautiful view at the Mediterranean (Mar) surrounded by soft, evergreen hills (Colinas). The near landscape is a nature reservation area. A paradise for hikers and bikers. You can relax on your 67 sqm big terrace (partly roofed) with sea view. The sea is 7 km apart and can be reached by car in 5 - 10 minutes. You are due to clean, big sandy beaches, with well-kept promenades, cafes, restaurants, small shops as well as romantic bays which invite you to take a bath and walk. Here you will find holiday feeling and recreation.

Costa Brava, Calonge, with its medieval centre and Castell, can be reached by car in 5 minutes from the house. The airport Girona (Ryan-Air) lies in 20 km distance and about 1 hour car drive away from the French border and 1 ½ hours away from Barcelona (motorway/bus connection). The Pyrenees (ski and winter sport) can be reached in 1 ½ - 2 hours, as well. At the sea there are many small bays which are connected with beautiful, well developed hiking trays. There are also many events, concerts and exhibitions (e.g. Dali Museum in Figueras). You find 8 golf courses that are 15 - 50 minutes away by car. The ceramic city Bisbal is only15 – 20 km away. The Costa Brava is a versatile, very romantic region which you should experience. The mountain range of Gavarres- from the Pyrenees to the sea (nature reservation area), is a well marked and mapped area and offers endless possibilities for hikers and bikers.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The rental rates include the extra charges (water, electricity). Central heating costs- payment (October – April, esp. on requirement) separately, due to usage (meter reading). Additionally bed linen and towels = 8 € per person. The final cleaning is 100 €. Outside the peak season (July/August) it can be rented by 2 – 4 people, price on request.
  • At the booking you have to transfer 20 – 50 % of the total price within 10 days, according to the period of time. Afterwards the time will be blocked and you receive a rent contract by post or email. At arrival you have to pay a deposit of 300 € in cash against receipt but it will be refunded at the end of your stay if the property is properly given over.
  • Long term renters (at least 1 month) pay 1800 € from the 01 of October 2006 – 31 of March2007 per month (up to 8 people). From the second month onwards there is a 20 % discount. With 2 -4 people price on request.

Living space description: The rooms are parted into 2 floors. The upper floor (92 sqm) includes an open kitchenette with a huge living/eating room on about 32 sqm, bed sofa. Separated bedroom area with 1 double bed. Bedroom has direct access to the bathroom (double sink/toilet/ bath). 1 room with bunk bed, separate shower/toilet. The 67 sqm terrace is partly roofed. The rooms on the ground floor (75 sqm) also have an open living/dining area (sofa bed) and kitchen. 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, 1 bathroom/toilet. The garden terrace has about 80 sqm. All rooms have direct access to the terrace/pool, with outdoor showers. The pool is 4 x 6 m. Garden furniture, comfortable sun chairs. There are a lot of sitting possibilities. The property is totally fenced. There is a car park in front of the house which belongs to it (up to 3 cars).

Hiking and winter sport: You can reach the Pyrenees within 1 1/2 - 2 hours. A beautiful landscape, big nature reservation area, invites you to hike. There are many indicated walking paths with maps. Famous ski and winter sport resorts. Ski sport club in Palamos. You can drive with you skis from the beach to the mountains.

Golf: The Golf-Club Playa D'Aro can be reached in 15 minutes and you can get to the Golf Club San Cristina in 20 minutes. There are futher golf courses (can be reached within 30 – 50 minutes).

Die Erholung unter der Sonne Spaniens !

Wir ( 2 Erwachsene , 1 Kind und ein Hund ) verbrachten 2 tolle Wochen in diesem Haus !
Das Haus und der Garten waren super gepflegt . Es übertraf unsere Vorstellung , die wir von den Bilder hatten , um ein vielfaches ! Es war mit viel liebe eingerichtet und es fehlte wirklich an nichts .
Zu unserer Reisezeit im September war es durchgehend um die 30 ° , wobei wir die meiste Zeit in dem tollen Pool verbrachten . Die Umgebung war traumhaft .Bei schönen Spaziergängen in den Bergen hatte nicht nur unser Hund sehr viel Spaß .
Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie tolle und saubere Strände sind in nur wenigen Minuten erreichbar .

Vielen Dank an die Eigentümer Hannelore und Peter für die herzliche Gastfreundlichkeit und die vielen tollen Ausflugtipps .

Das alles war für uns auch der Grund noch vor Ort unseren Urlaub für 2010 in diesem Haus zu buchen .

Ein Traum

Wir durften Ende Juli 2009 mit 2 Familien für 2 Wochen zu Gast in diesem von Hannelore und Peter liebevoll gestalteten und gepflegten Haus sein - und es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, was sehr mit den Möglichkeiten des Hauses zusammenhing.
Am Hang gelegen bietet sich von der oberen Terrasse ein toller Blick über Hügel und das Dorf Calonge auf das Meer, die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und die Korkeichenwälder am Ende der Straße laden zu Wanderungen, zum Joggen oder einem Radausflug ein, wenn die Temperaturen es zulassen.
Im Haus ist alles liebevoll und im Detail genau geplant und eingerichtet, sei es dass die Matratzen so sind wie man sie sich vorstellt, dass man Druck auf der Dusche hat oder (in der oberen Wohnung) ein Geschirrspüler steht - hier kann man es sich als Familie gut gehen lassen.
Unser Tagesablauf gestaltete sich so, dass wir morgens nach dem Frühstück mit den Kindern an den Strand gingen, mittags auf dem Rückweg einkauften und nach dem Essen die Kinder (4-8) mit Schwimmweste in den Pool "entließen". Wir hatten dann Zeit, die (Nach-)Mittagshitze unter der Arkade oder den Schirmen auf den Terrassen oder im Haus zu verbringen, sicher dass unsere Kinder Spaß hatten und sicher spielen konnten. So hatten wir viel Ruhe, die Kinder waren glücklich - und das ist bei einem Familienurlaub doch die halbe Miete!
Unsere Gastgeber von nebenan waren immer hilfsbereit, freundlich und ansprechbar ohne sich aufzudrängen. Dafür an dieser Stelle noch einmal vielen Dank!
Als Fazit bleibt nur zu sagen, dass dieses Haus die besten Möglichkeiten bietet, um mit 2 Familen einen schönen Strandurlaub zu verbringen!

Ein toller, erholsamer Familienurlaub

Wir waren im August 2009 mit 2 Familien und insgesamt 8 Personen in diesem Haus. Für Urlaub mit 2 Familien ist das Haus ideal. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.
Die Angaben der Vermieter stimmen voll und ganz mit dem vorgefundenen Zustand überein. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Geräte sind in sehr gutem Zustand. Man kann sich sehr gut mit 8 und auch mehr Personen auf der großen, oberen Terasse aufhalten und dort gemeinsam essen und den tollen Ausblick über das Meer genießen.
Das Haus liegt ruhig. Man muss zum Einkaufen zwar mit dem Auto ins Ort fahren, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Meistens kommt man ja ohnehin irgendwann am Tag dort vorbei.
Die freundlichen Vermieter wohnen im Nachbarhaus. Sie kümmern sich um den Pool und stehen jederzeit für Fragen und Sonstiges zur Verfügung.
Der Strand war für die Hochsaison im Vergleich zu anderen Stränden nicht besonders voll. Man konnte meist direkt in vorderster Reihe am Meer liegen.
Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Besonders auch, da die Kinder in dem doch angenehm großen Pool viel Spaß hatten. Der Pool kann auch beleuchtet werden.
Owner's Response: Es freut uns, wenn unsere Feriengäste den 2-Familien-Urlaub, wie wir ihn anbieten, geniessen können. Uns liegt es sehr am Herzen, dass sich jeder Feriengast in unserem Haus "als erster Gast" fühlt, deshalb ist Ordnung und Reinlichkeit unser Bestreben. Mit Freude und Engagement stehen wir gerne unseren Gästen zur Verfügung. Mit gleicher Begeisterung freuen wir uns auch über Einzelfamilien, die ausserhalb der Hochsaison, in nur einem Teil des Hauses ihre Ferien verbringen wollen.
