The exclusive holiday accommodation was built in 2003 and furnished with love in Mai 2004. 160 sqm light-flooded rooms and lovely details like round arches at the windows and doors radiate the typical Florida feeling. All the 3 bedrooms are equipped with beds (King Size, Queen-Size, Single beds and berber floors of high quality. The inviting dining area is apart from the bright and large living room. The modern and high-quality equipped kitchen with corean counter top leaves nothing to be desired. For your comfort there is also cable-TV, DVD-player, hi-fi system, telephone, fax, cooker and microwave available. Bed linen, bedspreads for cold days and towels are included. The toys guarantee bathing fun. Four new mountain bikes invite you for discovering the area. The sunny and central position in Southwest of Cape Coral guarantees short distances. Shopping facilities are nearby. The Sun-Splash-Waterpark and sandy beach of Fort Myers can be reached easily and quickly with your rental car.

Cape Coral is a young, dynamic and upcoming city that is not even 50 years old. It is located in the Southwest of Florida between Tampa in the North and Miami in the South at the Gulf of Mexico and it has about 146,000 inhabitants at the moment. Due to its over 600 km of water ways (canals with salt and fresh water, partly with access to open sea) it is often referred to as 'Venice of America'. Our holiday villa lies in wonderful position in the favoured Southwest of the city. The central and quiet position offers shopping possibilities nearby. You can reach restaurants in only a few minutes. In a driving distance of 20 minutes you reach the beach of Fort Myers, in 10 minutes you reach the sandy beach for Cape Coral. The holiday home can be reached easily with direct flights from different German airports. Destination is Fort Myers international airport (RSW), which is only 30 driving minutes from the house.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The stated price is valid per property per week (7 nights) and occupancy with 2 adults. Each additional person plus 70 € per week, in high season (15.12.06 - 15.04.2007) plus 90 € per week. One child up to 6 years will stay for free! All rental fees plus local taxes! Water, waste and electricity (up to 30 US$/week), local phone calls and cable TV as well as pool and garden maintenance included! Minimum booking period is one week, in high season two weeks. Flexible arrival possible. Discount for long-term rentals possible (as of 3 weeks, high season as of 4 weeks), please contact the owner directly!
  • Usage of gas barbecue is free, gas has to be bought by tenant if required. You can use 4 new bikes for free. Highchair and cot can be provided on request. Cable TV, usage of telephone (local calls) without costs. We recommend to buy a telephone card for national and international calls. Highspeed Internet Access (Broadband) available. Flatrate 10 Euro per week.
  • Additional costs: 125 € final cleaning- and service fee, payable with remaining balance four weeks before arrival. If the gas barbecue should be delivered dirty upon departure, we will charge a extra cleaning fee of 35 US$. With the rental fee there has to be paid a security deposit of 300 € to the German owners bank account which is refundable after return and balance by the owner. We strongly recommend a travel cancellation insurance!

Wonderful beaches / water sports: Numerous wonderful beaches can be found in your proximity and the 'Sun-Splash-Waterpark' with many water slides is in distance of only 5 driving minutes from the house. You can book big and small motor and sailing boats locally in the Marinas or with my German administration. You do not need a boat licence in Florida! Waterski, surfing and sailboarding is possible without restrictions. You can rent the equipment locally with low costs!

Catering / restaurants: Due to the central location in the Southwest of the city you easily reach charming restaurants nearby (local and international cooking). A supermarket with bakery is just around the corner, as well as a petrol station. Guests do also like to use the local pizza service. Numerous pubs, bars and discotheques in Cape Coral and Fort Myers (description and map in the house) invite you for a stay.

Trips: The perfect location in the West of central Florida invites you to day trips! You reach the Everglades within 1.5, Tampa (Bush Gardens) in 2 and Miami in 2.5 hours. To Orlando (Disney World, Disney Studios, Universal Studios, Sea World) you drive about 3.5 hours. The oneiric islands Sanibel and Captiva are for American measures 'directly in front of the house', the fine sandy and long beach of Fort Myers is in only a few miles distance. The Miromar Outlets with over 120 shops are in only 20 driving minutes distance and the Sun-Splash-Waterpark as well as supermarkets can be reached within 3 to 5 minutes (by car).

Golf: In Cape Coral you find many public golf courses of international standard which can be easily reached depending on the location within 5-30 minutes by car.

Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, bestens ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch den deutsch sprechenden Verwalter war sehr angenehm und kompetent. Wir haben 2 tolle Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht und viele Ausfluege zu den naheliegenden (30 min) Stränden gemacht. Einkaufsmöglochkeiten gibt es ausreichend in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir können dieses Haus bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen !

... hier wird nichts zuviel versprochen...
Ein tolles Haus: Sehr gepflegt, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts!
Tolle Betreuung, sowohl vor Anreise durch den Eigentümer, als auch vor Ort durch den Hausverwalter und jederzeit erreichbar.
Ideal für Familien mit 2-3 Kindern.
Unser Traumurlaub ging viel zu schnell vorbei, daher wollten wir gerne in 2010 wiederkommen!

Tolles Objekt!

Die Lage und Ausstattung ist bestens. Die Ferienvilla war in einem sehr guten, gepflegten und liebevoll eingerichteten Zustand. Die Betreuung im Vorfeld durch den Vermieter war sehr gut, die vor Ort durch den deutsch sprechenden Verwalter ebenso. Der Standort ist für Tagesausflüge zu den vorgelagerten Inseln, wie auch in Nationalparks sehr gut geeignet. Die Lebensmittelversorgung in der näheren Umgebung läßt kaum Wünsche zu. Das Haus ist ohne Einschräkung weiterzuempfehlen!

Wir haben Ende April/Anfang Mai 2 tolle Wochen in der Villa verbracht und haben uns dort super wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im Pool zu schwimmen bei den doch sehr warmen Temperaturen hat immer sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Die Betreuung durch Vermieter und Hausverwaltung vor Ort ist ausgezeichnet.

Villa Sunset - ein ausgezeichnetes Feriendomizil

Wir waren im April 2009 für 1 Woche in der Villa Sunset zu Gast. Die Villa ist äusserst gepflegt und komplett und mit Liebe zu Details eingerichtet. Die Betreuung vor Ort, wie auch die Korrespondenz mit dem Vermieter waren immer sehr angenehm.
Wir haben vor Ort alles so (oder noch besser) vorgefunden wie beschrieben.
Die Lage ist optimal für Ausflüge nach Fort Myers, Naples, Sanibel/Captiva Island. Supermärkte sind ausreichend in der näheren Umgebung vorhanden. Outlet Malls für Shopping Touren sind ebenfalls nur gute 20-30 Auto-Minuten entfernt.

Wir haben uns im Haus und Pool sehr wohl gefühlt und einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht, zu dem die Villa Sunset als unser Urlaubsdomizil wesentlich beigetragen hat.
