The apartment is situated at the Nieuwe Prinsengracht, which starts at the river Amstel, in the heart of Amsterdam right between the theatre Carre and the skinny bridge. It's a quite and charming canal with houseboats on both sides. The apartment, with a fantastic view over the canals, is situated on the second floor of a typical Dutch canal house. The apartment is completely renovated and nicely decorated. In the living room you find a colour-TV and a home cinema set (DVD, CD, MP3, radio). At the oak table with the comfortable chairs you can take your breakfast, drink a glass of wine or work for a while. There is a beautiful wooden floor in the apartment. The charming kitchen is fully: there are all facilities to make your vacation comfortable and pleasant. The bedroom, situated at the balcony, has a comfortable 2-persons bed. It is located in the back of the house overlooking the courtyard. The private bathroom has a bath, a shower and a washbasin. There is a separate toilet.

The apartment is situated at the Nieuwe Prinsengracht, in the heart of Amsterdam. Nearby you find the theatre Carre, the famous skinny bridge (river Amstel), the Stopera (city hall & opera) and the fleamarket Waterlooplein. All tourist attractions are nearby and easily to reach with public transport or by bike (there are several rent-a-bikes). The Nieuwe Prinsengracht is a quiet canal with houseboats on both sides. Nevertheless, the pulsing city life with it’s shops, bars, restaurants, theatres, clubs... is just a few steps away!

Wir verbrachten 3 Tage in Amsterdam in der wirklich sehr gemütlichen Ferienwohnung. Sie liegt günstig für die Erkundung der Stadt zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Die Räume sehen tatsächlich wie in der Beschreibung aus und sind in einem gepflegten Zustand.

Besonders nett, flexibel und großzügig war die Vermieterin, die uns willkommen hieß. Da vor und nach unserem Aufenthalt niemand die Wohnung gemietet hatte, konnten wir schon morgens einchecken und am Abreisetag die Wohnung bis 18:00 Uhr nutzen.

Wir würden die Wohnung gerne für einen weiteren Amsterdamaufenthalt mieten!

Idyllische Lage, sehr zentral, äußerst ruhig. Minimalistisch und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Wir waren zu zweit auf Besichtigungsurlaub Alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar - wir haben Fahrräder geliehen. Angesichts des Amsterdamer Fahrrad-Fahrstiles sollte man jedoch ein sicherer Fahrer sein! Viel Spaß hatten wir mit einem 24 Std.-Grachten-Rundfahrt-Ticket, bei dem man beliebig oft unterbrechen kann.
Das van-Gogh-Museum und das Rembrandt-Haus sollte man sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen.
Ansonsten - bummeln, schlendern, schauen.Jede Gracht ist schön.
Ein Auto ist eher hinderlich. Wir hatten Park and ride genutzt, siehe Hinweise im Internet. Bis zu 4 Tagen Aufenthalt 6 €/Tag, danach wird allerdings der Normalpreis von ca. 42 €/Tag fällig, daher eventuell ein Umparken einplanen.
Die Wohnung ist in jeder Hinsicht top, und wir empfehlen sie von Herzen gern weiter.

We love this wonderfull, bright apartment which is so well equipped and perfectly located in the center of Amsterdam. The apartment has a spectacular view over the canals and it's just great to sit in the sun and watch the passing boats. We return every year and can't imagine to stay somewhere else. It feels like home far away...

Wir haben hier in Amsterdam Ende Oktober 2009 ein paar sehr schöne Tage verbracht.
Aufgrund der zentralen Lage kann man die gesamte Innenstadt per Fuß erreichen und zwischendurch auch mal in der Ferienwohnung eine Ruhepause einlegen.
Wir hatten das Auto an der Ajax Amsterdam Arena für 3 Tage geparkt (Preis insgesamt 18€ einschl. Metrokarten für Hin- und Rückfahrt), dadurch gab es keinen Streß mit der Parkplatzsuche. Die Anbindung ist hier auch günstig.
Wir können die Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen, trotzt der zentralen Lage liegt sie sehr ruhig.

- lage + ausstattung sehr gut, alles wie beschrieben
- sauber, gemütlich, anordnung der zimmer schlauchartig (schlafzimmer vor der küche evtl ungewöhnlich)
- empfehlenswert,
- alles in fußweite, perfekter ausgangspunkt zum herumspazieren durch die grachten und nah zum zentrum und anderen beliebten stadtteilen, gute restaurants, eetcafes in der nähe
- sehr nette vermieterin
