It is a large, inexpensive, cosy, easy equipped holiday flat on the first floor of an old forester’s house for maximum 7 persons. Enjoy the silence in the mountains and in the large garden with a barbeque. Bring along your whole family or your friends. Or your dog? - A dog pound is available.

At the kilometre 80 of the Rennsteig which is altogether 168 km long, the state-approved recreation location Neustadt at the Rennsteig is situated amid of forest and wide meadows. The famous hiking path leads through our venue. Surrounded by the wonderful nature of the nature park Thuringian Forest and the biosphere reserve Vessertal you can go hiking, make bicycle trips or go biking down to your whim. Discover historical and other worth seeing things as our old charcoal factory, visit events or lectures, witness home festivals or let your soul dangle – Neustadt offers a lot of facilities for recreational vacations. At a height over 800 m the winter is very delicious and here is almost always a lot of snow. Gorgeous slopes, winter hiking trails and a ski lift invite you to tank freshness in clear air of the mountains. There are a lot of delicious hiking destinations, e.g. the “Kickelhahn” with the Goethe house and the dam Schönbrunn. The historical Weimar is 65 km apart.
