Coconut Dream is a lovely private resort with your own cook. It is situated directly on the biggest lake, the Vembanadlake of the backwaters in Kerala. This south Indian state is perfect for travellers who step the first time into India. But Coconut Dream is also a place for people who like to stay in a holiday house merely than in big hotels. Here you can get in touch with the people of an Indian village. You can swim in the lake just in front of you, go for Ayurveda treatment in the neighbourhood to an experienced Ayurveda-doctor, go for a houseboat tour, visit the seashore of the Arabian Sea or roam around to Cochin or other small cities- everything is going easy. The manager of the house will assist you and make trips with you - as you like. The house has 2 double rooms with attached bathrooms, a big veranda facing the lake, an outdoor dining place, a reading an office room and a nice garden to sit and relax. The whole house is wheelchair accessible! Come and enjoy India!

Wir waren im Januar 2009 2 Wochen hier. Das Ferienhauses und Umgebung entspricht vollständig der Beschreibung des Vermieters. Es ist einfach ausgestattet, sauber und sehr gepflegt. Die Köchin verwöhnte uns tagtäglich mit immer neuen landestypischen Gerichten. Hier gibt es authentische Kerala-Küche. Der Verwalter gab uns einen prima Einblick in das Indische Leben. Wir haben einige unvergessliche Ausflüge mit ihm gemacht. Beide haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert.
Das Haus liegt am Rande eines Fischerdorfes. Hier kann man das Leben der Fischer hautnah erleben. Von der Veranda aus kann man
morgens den Sonnenaufgang erleben und den Fischern bei der Arbeit zuschauen.
Die Leute sind sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich gegenüber Touristen.
Ein wunderschöner Palmenstrand am arabischen Meer liegt wenige km entfernt.
Wir haben hier einen unvergesslichen Urlaub verbracht und kommen bestimmt wieder!
