Das Haus ist gross und hat viel Platz, eher für mehrere Leute, ist aber auch für 2 Leute gemütlich!
An Ausstattung und Gemütlichkeit lässt es keine Wünsche offen.
Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber.
Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum kochen braucht, und hat einen grossen Kühlschrank.
Es gibt im Haus sogar 5 "deutsche" Steckdosenübersetzungen, so dass man keine grossen Probleme hat, selbst wenn man nicht um die unterschiedlichen Stecker weiss.
Was uns an der Ausstattung auch sehr gefallen hat war die Tatsache dass wir nicht extra noch Handtücher und Bettwäsche mitnehmen mussten, da das Gepäck bei unserer Fluggesellschaft stark reduziert bleiben musste.

Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Ruhig, aber doch nah am Strand, und nah an Einkaufsmöglichkeiten dran.

Die Informationen die uns von den Vermietern zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, waren gut.
Die irische Hausverwalterin war sehr freundlich und hilfbereit, und hat einmal pro Woche nachgefragt ob bei uns noch alles in Ordnung ist.

Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall weiter, und werden selbst auch baldmöglichst wiederkommen.

Wunder gibt es immer wieder

Wir sind an einem sonnigen Tag Ende Mai 2009 mit den jedem Fereinhaus-Mieter bekannten Befürchtungen "Wird uns das Haus gefallen? "angekommen. Wir waren sprachlos angesichts dieses schönen Cottages, umgeben von einer Art Botanischem Garten. Der zweite Willkommensgruß war, dass das Haus beheizt war und alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht. In der Küche gab es nicht nur ein Weinglas und das zweite war angeschlagen, sondern genügend Gläser, Töpfe, Teller, Tassen, Messer etc.. Wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause und berührt von den vielen liebevollen Kleinigkeiten, die es im Garten und Haus zu entdecken gab. Die Umgebung bietet alle Möglichkeiten: lange Strandspaziergänge nur wenige Minuten vom Haus entfernt, Wanderungen auf den umliegenden Bergen, Abende vor dem Kamin oder mit einem Buch im Garten, Ausflüge in das entzückende Sligo mit kleinen Cafés, Läden und Pubs.
Wer Natur und Ruhe mag, ist hier genau richtig. Es gibt nur ein Problem: das Wegfahren fällt ganz schön schwer.
