History of the area:
Weilheim / Baden at the swiss border has an old history. Relics of roman walls were discovered and roman coins of the emperors Trajan (98 - 101 A.D.) and Konstantin (353 - 361 A.D.), were found. The roman word 'Villa' gave the name to the later settlement. This name appeared for the first time in a document of the monastery St. Gallen /Switzerland in 929 A.D. as 'Wihlheim'.
Weilheim and surrounding:
'A beautiful page out of the book Genesis' a historian titled our landscape in the sunny high of about 600 m sea-level. From here You will find beautiful views down-hill into the valleys of the Rhine and Aare / Switzerland. And - last but not least - where else will You find such a great and unique view to the total Alps in Switzerland but from here - from my house? This overtopped altitude level with an agreeable climate, a pure and will breeze, at the border of Switzerland, with best handling of traffic to the Rhine-valley, near to France and Austria, let Weilheim be a privileged permanent and holiday residence.

Dear Mrs. Simson, yesterday we arrived at home. We let pass in review our absolutely comfortable stay in your house. We ourselves felt kinglike in good hands with you. The south black forest with its high regions at the border to Switzerland and France gives so much cultural experiences which we didn'd expect. We had short distances to St. Blasien with its famous dome, Titi-sea, Basel/CH. Brief: You are living in a beautiful and exquisite region of God's own country. My family and even our dog Leo (Hovawart) enjoyed the holydays at your home. Price-service = absolute okay. Sure we will come again, cause other seasons are guarantee for recovery and relaxing in your lovely region too.
We will recommend your house to our friends.
Kind regards for you and your house with the Christian motto: CMB 'God bless this house'.
