Historical ruins (1761), half-timbered, sand stone walls, oak beams, wood ceilings, wood floors and with all amenities for a holiday with the family, friends and hiking groups. Particularly ideal for those travelling with a sense for old construction culture and those who love the cosiness of farm parlours with antique farm furniture, a large dining table with "a small altar", alcove with a sofa, tiled stove with cooking space in the hall area. Purposeful kitchen with tiled stove and kitchen table, a lot of extras. A staircase leads to the first floor up to four bedrooms with comfortable, large beds with new, good mattresses and cuddly feather beds. A place of rest and relaxation Ideal starting point for hikes. Hiking maps, guides for the region and a variety of games also belong to the equipment. The 1700 m² property is available for your personal use during the stay (large lawn). - New! Schoenbourg is a small city in the forest region of the Nordvogesen in Parc de la Petite Pierre. It can be reached quickly from Germany & is still located peacefully and secluded in unobstructed nature. This region is still free of tourism. The historical house is in a typical Alsatian style & is located on a small side street that leads to the forest, across from the church. It is an ideal starting point for countless hikes on well marked hiking paths, through wide forests, valleys with small lakes & ponds. Graufthal, known for its cliff houses, is located 3 km away in the valley & can be easily reached on foot. Here and everywhere on the way you will find restaurants and inns that provide the traditional Alsatian cuisine. Cycling on the Rhine-Marne-Canal, beautiful Alsace villages with typical half-timbered constructions, Saverne, La-Petite Pierre and also Straßburg and Metz can be reached quickly. The proximity to Saare with lakes and canals offers swimming and water sport options.

  • The rental price is for a booking of the house with up to 4 people. This base price for 7 nights increases for each extra person per week by € 90, for children under 10 years of age by € 45 (children up to two years of age are free). During the shoulder season, we also rent for at least 3 nights. The base price for 4 people increases by € 15 per night for each extra person, children under 10 years of age pay € 7. All utilities like electricity, heat and firewood for the tiled stove are included in the price. You must leave a security deposit of € 200 to compensate for possible damages that you cause. The final cleaning costs € 60. Additional services on request: bedsheets, towel and table linens, one fee of € 10 per person. The beds are made then. Otherwise, bring along your own bedsheets, bedcovers for the beds (1 x 2 m), bed covers and towels (kitchen towels) table sets.

06.05.07 Hallo, vielen herzlichen Dank, dass wir in Ihrem tollen Ferienhaus zu Gast sein durften. Das Haus und der Garten sind kurz gesagt einfach „Der Hammer“. Eigentlich fast schon zu schade, um es zu vermieten, aber wir hoffen, Sie tun das auch weiterhin, denn wir werden bestimmt nochmal zurückkommen. Wir hatten tolles Wetter und konnten so die komplette Spiele-Palette im Garten nutzen. Die Boulebahn ist absolut genial. Keiner von uns hat vorher Boule gespielt, geschweige überhaupt daran gedacht Boule zu spielen, und alle waren total begeistert. Der Kurzurlaub war für alle Erholung pur! Auch ein Dankeschön an Ihre Verwalter. Es hat alles bestens geklappt. R. Hermann, Leingarten. ***12.01.07 ... auch in diesem Jahr haben wir eine wunderschöne Woche in Ihrem Haus verbracht und trotz des grauenhaften Wetters in vollen Zügen genießen und uns erholen können. Haus Schoenbourg ist ein wunderschönes und gemütliches altes Bauernhaus, das liebevoll restauriert wurde. Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie (3 Generationen) angereist und haben herrlich erholsame Tage im Garten und in der Umgebung verbracht. Für alle die schnell den Alltag vergessen und aus der Hektik entfliehen wollen, ist dieses Ferienhaus ideal. Auch mit einer größeren Personenzahl ist genug Platz und Rückzugsraum, so dass auch ein Generationenurlaub ein voller Erfolg wird.
Die Verwalter vor Ort, wie auch die Schoenbourger sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Im Haus selbst finden sich viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche. Honig uns Ziegenkäse, die es im Ort zu kaufen gibt sind sehr lecker!
Wir haben es gar nicht geschafft, alles zu entdecken und kommen gerne wieder!

Familientreffen im Haus Schoenbourg

Im Mai 2009 trafen wir uns: Großeltern, junge Ehepaare und 2 Enkelkinder (12 und 9 ) zu unserem alljährlichen gemütlichen Beisammensein. Was wir vorfanden hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, u.a. Betreuung vor Ort, Pflegezustand das Hauses und des Gartens und viele Möglichkeiten für Sport und Spiel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung, Restaurants und vor allem kulturelle Erlebnisse genossen alle drei Generationen.
Ein besonderer Dank gilt der Vermieterfamilie - wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Entspannung und Bewegung in gemütlicher Atmosphäre

Bei wunderschönem Herbstwetter lernten wir das Elsass von seiner besten Seite kennen. In Haus Schoenbourg fühlten wir (6 Pers.: Eltern, 2 Kinder 12 + 15, Großeltern) uns sofort heimisch, der große, idyllische Garten läd zum Entspannen ein und die Tischtennisplatte zur Bewegung. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Mit vielfältigen Ausflüge und Wanderungen in der Umgebung verflog die Zeit nur so. Auch Fahrradtouren sind klasse - wer es hügelig mag.
Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, die Ansprechpartner vor Ort supernett und die Abende im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer sehr entspannend.

Durch Zufall im internet gefunden, war Haus Schoenbourg für uns (Paar, 3 kleine Kinder, 1 Paar Großeltern) der VOLLTREFFER!!!!

Das Haus ist urig, geniale Atmosphäre, trotzdem komfortabel. Platz ohne Ende, auch draußen.

Die Leute im Dorf sind total nett, Umgebung interessant - es blieben keinbe Wünsche offen!!!
