A lot of our guests come to us to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature that we can offer here. Tranquility, a lot of space and relaxation with sports and games, plus a pretty chalet or bungalow in our recreation park 'De Groote Vliet' - that is very infrequent in the Netherlands! Our chalets and our bungalows are located on properties in the countless waterways. Through these, you can reach both lakes, Groote Vliet and Kleine Vliet, by boat. Through the locks in Medemblik, you can get by boat to the IJsselmeer. From three docks, swimming guests can have fun in the lake 'de Groote Vliet'. For our small guests there is a playground. Furthermore, the park also has a sports and soccer field, boat rental, carp pond, a basketball court, a dog toilet and a tennis court. For a weekend trip or during a longer stay, you will quickly feel right at home.

This bungalow is suitable for six people maximum. The floor plan is as follows: upstairs you will find three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with WC and shower or rather bathtub. Downstairs you will find a living room with a kitchenette, extra WC and a storage room. The bungalows are detached and are located on water properties with their own dock. The bungalows are modernly furnished and equipped with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine. The bungalows dispose of central heating and cable television. Through the sliding door to the garden you enter the furnished terrace.

In addition to the many options that the park offers, you can experience a lot more close-by. The recreation area 'De Vooroever' is located directly in front of the park. By boat on the sea, sailing, sunbathing, swimming or surfing - all of this is possible on the shores of the Ijssel Sea! A perfect combination of water, nature area, lawns and beach! About three kilometers away you will find the city of Medemblik, not only known as a modern yacht center, but also because of its lively, authentic harbour. Countless shops and cozy restaurants complete the city image. Medemblick is also the home train station for a steam-engine train that brings you to Hoorn as well. The Radboud castle, the bakery museum and the steam engine museum are definitely worth a visit. In the Zuiderzee museum in the nearby Enkhuizen, historical times come alive.

Notes: New bungalows and chalets have been built on the grounds of our park continuously since 2001. All of these chalets and bungalows are free standing constructions, mostly situated on plots of land surrounded by water and have their own jetty. The bungalow is fitted to modern standards with dish washer, microwave oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and washing machine. They possess central heating and cable television. The push door into the garden takes you through the furnished terrace.
