In front of the house there is s spice garden with sage, thyme, various mints, balm, rosemary for making tea, sweetened with the region’s honey – a well-tasting beverage alternative. We have installed berries(..tiny, aromatic ones that can be pluck all summer), blackberries without quills, raspberries, gooseberries, figs and many huckleberries and lowbush cranberries in our Black Forrest garden, for enabling you to make milkshakes with fresh fruits for your kids (the kitchen has a mixer). Even on the forest lawn behind the house children can let paper airplanes fly, instructions can also be found in the Charlottes Forsthaus.
Chopping wood and watching wild game:

With the still present, internationally known timber-athlete Mr. Neher and his friends you can chop a well under instruction, as well as watch animals on a stance. Have you watched a capercaillie in free nature yet? In the natural reserve North Black Forrest this possibility still exists! The guided tour across forest paths is not only an advantageous and instructional experience for kids, but adults as well. Hunters can go hunting. Further information on request.
