Naples airport is an hour and half drive to Casa Palma. Transfer from and to airport with car hire can be arranged. This enables you to relax when arriving at the airport with transfer awaiting you without the hazzel of finding car hire and driving in the Naples traffic. On Arriving here the hired car will be delivered directly .Regular buses run from the airport to Naples train station where trains run every hour to Agropoli station from here I can arrange for you to be picked up. Local scooter, bike and car hire are available. San Marco’s amenities include a local doctor, dentist, and chemist. Also there is a post-office and cash point. Casa Palma:
Casa Palma is situated in a rural area, a five minutes walk from a delightful panoramic restaurant and bar, ten minutes walk from the village and the beach. The village of San Marco di Castellabate is found on the beautiful unspoilt Cilento coastline, which lies in the National parkland reserve, and stretches along the coast and inland to the hills of Vallo di Diano, offering a wonderful combination of wide sandy bays, rocky coves and green hillsides. The village of San Marco has a picturesque fishing port where you will find moored a selection of fishing, leisure boats and yachts. In the village you can find a number of restaurants, bars and shops. The neighbouring village of Santa Maria, slightly larger than San Marco, boasts a greater selection of shops, restaurants, gelaterie and bars. Castellabate the medieval village situated on the hill now under patronage of the UNESCO offers stunning views of the coastline with silhouette of the Amalfi coast and Capri Island.

There are a number of sites of interest; the area is steeped in history, both Greek and Roman such as Paestuim and Velia. Excursions: Pompei, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Sorrento and the Islands of Capri. In the opposite direction the untouched Cilento coast down to Palinuro the village of the mermaids myths.
