It is still possible to find quiet spots in Europe! Our bright, spacious vacation apartment is located on a 2.7 hectare property deep in the south of France, right between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. The highest peaks of the Pyrenees can be viewed from our house. The fully self-sufficient house is 95 m² in size and offers sufficient space for 5 people. You're sure to feel right at home here! The apartment includes 2 terraces, its own garden space (about 560 m²) with a little Pool (4,50 m x 0,90m) and a parking spot for your car. A large living room with an inviting sofa corner and kitchen counter, the bathroom, a spacious hallway with a wardrobe and a storeroom are all located on the ground floor. The upper floor features 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with three single beds. The apartment is modern and has been lovingly furnished. It has a spacious layout and plenty of room. The kitchen and garden include everything that you'll need to feel very much at home.

Our farm is located alone amidst rolling hills at an altitude of 350 m. You'll stay in the historic, thinly settled Gascogne region in the department Hautes Pyrénées. This area is renowned for its culinary specialties, such as Armangnac, foie gras, and confit de canard, as well as The Three Musketeers. The Pyrenees' highest peaks lay visibly before you and help to protect from extreme weather. You'll enjoy the mild climate of the plains, and still be able to reach the sights with ease. The neighbouring departments of Haute Garonne with its capital Toulouse (approximately 100 km north-east), and Gers with its beautiful sunflower fields, are as inviting as the nearby Pyrenees (40 km), Spain (70 km), or Lourdes (45 km south-west). Riding enthusiasts are sure to be familiar with the sturdy breed of horse from the department capital of Tarbes. The farm is located just 1 km from the Lac de Puydarrieux nature reserve.

possibility for leisure: Explore Lac de Puydrarrieux (nature reserve for migratory birds, especially cranes) by foot, or observe rare birds (nightingales, hoopoes, golden orioles, bee-eaters) and amphibians. A tennis court, riding facilities, and a small village pool are not far away. You may wish to enjoy the region from above (sport airport with sightseeing flights and para-gliding in Castelnau-Magnoac, just 10 minutes away by car). There are many village festivals during the summer at which you can enjoy southern French flair on the weekends. A number of castles, grottos (Grottes de Medous, Grottes de Betharram, Gouffre d`Esparros, Grottes prehistorique de Gargas), and historic diggings await you.

the departement 'Hautes Pyrénées': The local markets are in the nearby towns and villages are also well worth seeing. Most of the nearby Pyrenees' famous sights are just an hour's drive away. These include Pic de Midi, Pont d`Espangne, Cirque de Gavarnie and many more. Take the children to 'Donjon des Aigles' to observe eagles, or to 'Parc Animalier des Pyrénées' to see bears and marmots. How about white water rafting in the Pyrenees, rock climbing, or paragliding? Enjoy day trips to the unpopulated, wild, romantic Spanish Pyrenees, where you can visit the Ordessa National Park. We recommend bringing your own vehicle or renting one at the airport in Toulouse.

Thomas und Tabea Börner aus Berlin: Als wir im September ankamen, herrschte noch der Sommer mit über 30 Grad und prächtigem Sonnenschein. Also ging´s tagsüber zum Abkühlen in die Höhen der Pyrenäen. Abends ließ sich auf der Terrasse die Frische der Nacht genießen. Nun sind wir schon wieder viele Wochen zurück im Berliner Trubel und können uns die traumhafte Ruhe in Eurem Haus und drumherum kaum noch vorstellen. *** Hiroshi Tsuji aus Stuttgart: Weites Land, hohe Berge, brillante Sonne, zigtausende Sterne, stille Nächte, erfrischendes Morgengrauen, beeindruckende Abenddämmerung, Schafe, Kaninchen, Hühner, Küken, Hund, Katzen, Feldmäuse, Libellen, ein Teich als guter Biotop, liebe- und mühevoll hergerichtetes Bauernhaus, und darin eine gemütliche Fremdenwohnung, leckeres selbstgebrautes Bier....
und allerhöchste Zeitruhe. Was wir lieben und was uns Freude macht gibt es bei Euch wohl Alles. Was bleibt ist wirklich wunderschöne Erinnerung.

Great for us and the dogs too

Super accommodation. Has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. It's quiet and isolated, but very easy to drive for a coffee and croissant in nearby Trie sur Baise. Perfect location to explore the Pyrenees, the wine region of Madiran, or to sample the Armagnac in Gers.

The dogs thoroughly enjoyed it, straight out onto the fields for their morning constitution.

The humans thoroughly enjoyed it, straight onto the patio for the freshly-tapped beer and stone oven baked pizza.

Erholung abseits des Massentourismus

Der Bauernhof in Alleinlage wurde von den Besitzern in den letzten Jahren liebevoll renoviert und stellt heute ein kleines Refugium dar.
Auf 10.000m2 gibt es Ziegen, Hasen, Hühner und einen lieben Hund sowie einen Teich und einem kleinen Pool. Von den Vermietern kann man Eier und Fleisch kaufen. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in einigen Km Entfernung.
Die FW ist großzügig, hell und mit Liebe zum Detail ausgebaut.
Eine Besonderheit ist eine kleine Bierbrauerei für den Eigenbedarf, mal eine gute Alternative zum ständigen Rotwein, und ein Pizzaofen.
Von hier aus kann man viele Ausflüge unternehmen, Besichtigungen von schönen südfranzösischen Orten, Wandern in den Pyrenäen (ca. 20km), Biken und vieles mehr.
Die Vermieter sind nette Menschen, helfen wo Bedarf besteht und geben Tipps für die Planung von Ausflügen in die nähere und weitere Umgebung.
Die FW ist gut geeignet für Urlauber mit Bedarf nach Ruhe und Erholung sowie für Familien mit tierlieben Kindern.

Urlaub Anfang April

wir haben im April eine Woche in Perissee bei Claudia und Dieter ausgespannt. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung, das Ambiente, die Vermieter. Alles top! Eine wirklich geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung und Boccia (der super liebe Hofhund) haben uns gleich begeistert. Wir haben gemeinsam Brot und Pizza gebacken und Dieters selbstgebrautes Bier genossen. Mit den Wanderkarten und Tipps von Dieter haben wir die Umgebung erkundet und Schweine in Freilandhaltung besucht. Auch das Wetter hat mitgespielt. Wir haben Anfang April schon einen kleinen Sonnenbrand bekommen.

Hallo Claudia und Dieter,
wir möchten nochmal Dank sagen für die schöne Zeit die wir bei Euch erbracht haben. Eure FeWo ist wirklich sehr schön, sehr groß und die Küche bestens ausgestattet. Auch das selbstgemachte Bier und die frische Schafsmilch u. Euer Käse waren köstlich. Die Umgebung bei Euch ist wirklich sehr schön, mit hübschen Dörfern und tollen Routen zum Wandern und Radeln. Eure "Ruine" habt Ihr wunderschön hergerichtet - Ihr könnt stolz sein!
