How to get there:
You can get there by plane to Valencia or Alicante, both being about 100 km away from Denia and both served by budget airlines. We would be only too pleased to organize the journey from Valencia or Alicante to the house (it costs 70 € one way). If you are interested in renting a car, we can recommend a firm with reasonable prices. You can drive from Valencia or Alicante on the AP7 to the exit road 62 (Denia / Ondara). The house is about 5 km from there. You will receive more detailed directions with the confirmation of your booking.

You can experience Spanish tradition the whole year through, starting with the Fallas in March when the first day of spring is celebrated. The humorous figures, lovingly handmade, are to remind us of the transience of life. The summer and San Juan are welcomed with fireworks and songs. During the feast of the patron saint in July, which honours the Holy Blood, the famous 'Bous a la Mar' takes place: young bulls and men race down to the sea. This unique spectacle is crowned by the Carrozas, the flower battle, during which the streets are filled with fragrance and colour, and an exhilarating love of life pervades. In the middle of August there is the Moors and Christian parade through the streets. The Moorish history of Denia is re-enacted with colourful costumes, music, and not a small amount of gunpowder. The sound of the international concerts held in the historic ambiance of the castle pervade the summer evenin
