Our philosophy:
Our philosophy is: preserve the rural construction culture and revive the traditional craftsmanship. To introduce elements of southern architectural styles in our Hagerhof and to connect it with true, Bavarian styles of home decor. We do not emphasize only on comfort and convenience, living itself becomes an experience.
The farm and its surroundings:
The farm is in a very tranquil and natural location. It is only 7 kms up to Lake Chiemsee in the nature reserve of the Eggstätt-Hemhofer lake district, an ecologically valuable natural space, lawn for sunbathing, charcoal grill, summer house, adventure playground with hunting perch, sand pit, swing, tractors, Bobbycar, football field with gates, giant trampoline, fishing opportunities, parking spaces and bicycle garage, cowshed with dairy cattle and calf, hares, guinea pigs, chickens and cats, it is possible to work on the farm, tractor driving with the farmers.
In the farmhouse::
5 romantic holiday homes, each unique. Reception and residence hall ‘passage’ with gallery and bridge. A medieval arched cellar with open fire place and grill for evening get together = the 'wine cellar', our bar, based on an old abbey cellar. You can have celebrations here: birthdays, anniversaries, jubilees, Christmas celebrations, family functions, conferences, trainings and meetings, or simply get together. There is an additional kitchen in the backyard with a baking oven and crockery for 45 persons. (There is no baking oven in the apartments!) There is an exclusive sauna, flood shower, rest room. There is a library with story books. Sports room and game room: Table tennis, kicker, trimming wheel and much more. Utility area with washing machine, dryer, drying room for winter sports clothes etc. Bio-wood chips heating facilities with wood fuel from our own woods, fully air-conditioned living space, and an apartment for the manager, settlement apartment.
Ski:
Cross-country skiing at home: 24 km to the ski lift, Aschau Kampenwand.
Golf:
18-hole-course, 5 km away, Golf Club Höslwang in the Chiemgau e. V., Kronberg 3, 83129 Höslwang,
