In the community of Muzzano in the Province of Biella in Northern Piedmont some traditional Farmhouses have been chosen for a total restructure work and became very nice vacation homes. The local organisation 'Europe Village' financed the work with the help of European funds and now cares for the administration of the vacation homes, the reception and assistance of guests. The guest will find at reasonable rates some very new homes with top equipment and very nice furniture. The small village Gilonio lies at 600 m. in a nice position with beautiful panorama and surrounded by fields and woods. There are just few houses around a courtyard. A 2,5 km dirt road unites Gilonio to Muzzano, where you find all kinds of shops and facilities. The Apartment Gilonio 1 has place for 5 persons (6 with added bed), but together with the other two apartments there is place for 12 to 16 persons. It is an ideal place for families or friend to meet and spend a nice vacation together.

The apartment Gilonio one is placed at the end of the building row and opens to the courtyard as well as to the wood. This apartment of 150 m² extends on two floors united by a wide staircase. On the ground floor there is the spacious kitchen with dining table for 6 and modern equipment (dishwasher, microwave), the living room with two large couches and television, a guest WC with washing machine. On the first floor there are two double rooms, 1 single room and two bathrooms with shower. One of the double rooms opens to a covered terrace (12 m²) with 2 long chairs. The beautiful woodwork of the ceilings gives a warm atmosphere.

The province of Biella extends at the feet of the Alps between the lakes Maggiore, Orta and the Aosta Valley. The variety of landscapes in this region is impressing: Alpine views, soft hills which extend down to the rice fields in the plain, clear small lakes, beautiful parks. Biella itself is an elegant and small town, internationally known for the high quality of its wool fabrics. Some of the producers have outlets for retail. The village of Muzzano, 12 km from Biella, lies in an ideal area for mountain bikers and walkers, who find a wide net of marked paths, supported by good maps and descriptions. Muzzano is also a good start for short trips to Turin, Milano, or to the wine regions of Asti and Alba, or to the lakes Maggiore, Orta and Como. Wir wurden von den Betreuern bereits im Vorfeld aber auch während des Aufenthaltes sehr gut betreut.
Das Haus mit seiner komfortablen Einrichtung ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern (Küche, Bäder, Ausstattung etc.) und in sehr gepflegtem Zustand.
Guter Ausgangspunkt für Berg-Wanderungen in alle Himmelsrichtungen und alle Schwierigkeitsgrade. Aber auch andere Highlights wie z.B. Oropa, Candelo, Bessa und Biella sind bequem per Auto in nahem Umkreis erreichbar.
Das Haus liegt ganz ruhig und abseits von Lärm und Trubel in der winzigen Siedlung Graglia oberhalb von Biella mit guter Sicht auf die Stadt.
Das Ferienhaus M3 wird von uns ohne Einschränkung weiter empfohlen.
