Rent a boat of your choice and depart from our private boat dock/lift via the canal and the Caloosahatchee to the secluded, romantic, sandy beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands or discover the sparkling crystal blue open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Cape offers a great variety of fine restaurants, be it seafood or any other outstanding cuisine.

Rental rates for the Villa Margherita in Cape Coral, Florida South Central Gulf Coast, Florida

Notes to the rental rates

• The above mentioned price indications are based on a rental period of one week for 3 adults. Children up to the age of 12 are free. Each additional person is € 70 per week. Children between the ages of 13 - 16 get a 30 % discount. Price includes water usage and tax (presently 11 %) except Christmas and Easter, when we have to add the 11 % tax. Price includes electricity usage up to $ 20 per week. Any higher use of electricity will be charged $ 0.15 per KW and can either be balanced against the security deposit or paid to the property manager in cash. Incl. pool- and gardening service, bilingual property manager, gas (for the BBQ-grill). In case you do not want to clean the bbq-grill yourself, the cleaning lady will take care of it for a charge of $ 60. The final cleaning charge is $ 130 and is collected by our local property manager. The security deposit is EUR 500. (refundable)
  
• Terms of Payment: At confirmation of booking a down payment of EUR 500 is due. This payment also serves as the security deposit. Rent for the full booking period is due 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the rental period. In case of short notice bookings - 6 weeks or less before the rental period – the full rent is due at the time of booking.
  
• Cancellation and return policy: Up to 45 days prior to arrival, 10% of the rent for the full period. * 44 to 30 days prior to arrival, 30% of the rent for the full period. * 29 to 22 days prior to arrival, 60% of the rent for the ful period. * 21 to 8 days prior to arrival, 80% of the rent for the full period. * under 8 days prior to arrival, 100% of the rent for the full period. * We therefore recommend to take out travel insurance that includes cancellation costs.

Bedrooms

Your Villa Margherita provides professional Time-Warner Cable TV in all of the bedrooms as well as the living room. You will be able to select from an abundance of more than 45 programs. Additionally you can enjoy watching videos via a VCR in the Master Bedroom. Two of our bedrooms are equipped with XXL King size beds. Beautiful view to the canal and the boat dock right from the sliding glass doors that open to the pool deck and screened lanai. You will enjoy the tranquillity and the endless sunshine, probably even until the famous sunset unfolds its multicoloured splendour. The large solar heated pool offers splashing fun for those who want to cool off. You will love the spacious walk-in closets that are one of the highlights of each bedroom. Too hot? – no problem, in addition to the A/C you can switch on the various fans in all areas of the house and the lanai.

Bathrooms

Enter the beautifully finished master bathroom through the corridor from the master bedroom. The large walk-in shower offers more than enough room to cool off. The hand-painted palm tree behind the bathtub looks exactly like the real ones you see through the various windows of the bathroom. His and Hers wash basins on either side of the room emphasize the spaciousness of this master bathroom. We provide high quality towels in abundance. Leave your hairdryer at home. We've thought of/and provide everything you might need. Your second bathroom offers direct access to the Pool Area and is decorated in blue and white colours with hand-painted banana leaves. Direct pool access means no slip-and-fall injuries due to wet feet on the living room tiles. Frolic in the pool and take a shower in the bathroom without having to cross hazardous floors.

Why not enjoy the marvellous scenery of the world-renowned Gulf Coast from the comfort of your own boat? Right after your passage through the tropical canals you could encounter playing dolphins or fishing pelicans. Shell Islands? Yes, Sanibel and Captiva have earned their reputation as the Shell Islands. They both rank tops in the world for their shelling because of their geographical history. People come from all over the world and double over in a stance that's been dubbed the Sanibal Stoop. Why not do the same? It really is worth it!

Golf Information:

There are more than 50 golf courses in and around area of Cape Coral. They range from 9, 18, and even 27 hole courses and quite a number of them are public. Please remember to keep some space in your suitcase, because the local outlet centers offer some really good bargains.
