Villa ‚Porta del Sol’ is a spacious detached villa in the country. The next house is about 200 meters away. The Villa lies in the East Algarve away from the many tourists of the West Algarve, 1.5 km away from the village of Moncarapacho which has several Restaurants and shops. 15 km to the West is the town of Olhão and 15km to the east is Tavira. The international Airport is in the capital Faro which is reached by motorway in about 25 minutes. 40 km east is the Spanish boarder. 1 – 2 day trips to Andalusien (Sevilla, Gordoba, Malaga), Lissabon or Cabo de São Vincente are also possible. The house has a large Patio, partly covered which is superb for watching the sunset and gives the possibility to lie in the sun or shade. There are many fruit trees (oranges, figs, lemons) and olive trees in the 4000 m² grounds.

The villa lies outside of Moncarapacho, at the foot of the Cerro de Cabeça. There is an almost 180° view of the sea from the second floor terrace. Very quite area with gentle hills, a seldom used unpaved road lies about 100m from the house. There are just 4 other houses within 200 – 500m.

Notes: The house is of a high standard, completely furnished and is ideal for summer rental, as the rooms are large with high ceilings. Linen for the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms (towels) are provided. The large entrance hall connects the dining room with the kitchen and the living room. In the entrance hall there is also a guest WC and the stairs to the first floor. The kitchen is large (16m²) with a separate table and corner seating and a full automatic coffee machine. There is also a door out the east side where the round pool (4.0m x 0.9m) is situated. The cooker has 2 gas and 2 electric rings.

Cheap: The rental price compared to other villas with large pools is very cheap. There is a small round (4.00 x 0.9m) pool to cool down in when it is hot. The house is recommended for families with small children.

Quiet natural area: It is no longer permitted to build in the area, this means that you will be away from the tourist noise for your stay. The house has a large terrace area, partly covered, which is superb for watching sunsets or for lying in the sun or shade. The beaches in this part of the Algarve are mainly used by locals, there are even islands where one can be almost alone. There are many Golf Clubs in the area with great greens e.g. Adolfo da Quinta which lies behind our local mountain Adolfo da Quinta, simply drive passed the house to reach the course.

Trips: In 15 minutes by car one can reach Olhão, where there are 2 large modern Market halls, 1 for fruit, vegetables and meat the other for fish and seafood, that can be heartily recommended. Large shopping centres, small shops and boutiques are very inviting for a shopping trip. In Olhão harbour there are ferries to the islands. Day trips with the car for instance Cabo São Vincente (end of the earth in old Europe), Monchique mountains, you can drive along the cliff coasts of western Algarve or even to Lissabon. The 40 km drive to Spain (Andalusia) takes about 40 minutes, travelling through small coastal towns on both sides of the boarder. It takes just 2 hours to drive to Seville and 4 hours to Gordoba or Malaga. For something different it’s worth taking a trip to the Huelva Province. The National Park Donana and the nature reserves Isla de En medio, Laguna El Portil and Marisma de El Burro are also worth visiting for nature lovers.

Schöner Urlaub mit Kindern und Hunden

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist ruhig gelegen, aber nicht zu weit weg von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Die Strände sind schnell zu erreichen. Fuseta ist nur ca. 4 km entfernt. Faro ist nur ca. 20 km entfernt.
Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub erlebt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen wollen. Auch unsere Kinder und die Hunde waren begeistert.
Wir möchten uns auf diesem Wege auch für die sehr angenehme und gute Betreuung vor und während unseres Urlaubes bedanken.

Absolute geniale Villa mit viel Platz im und ums Haus.Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer einfach super.Die Anlage ist sehr sauber gehalten.Ich kann diese Anlage nur weiter Empfehlen.Die Aussicht von der Hausterrasse aus ist wunderschön

Wir hatten einen super tollen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Villa. Vielen Dank für alles! Auch für die vielen Tipps um die Natur an der Algarve zu erkunden.(Ria Farmosa, Stauseen im Hinterland ect.) Diese Villa ist nicht nur schön eingerichtet und super gelegen sondern hat auch ein wunderschönes Umland, ohne Massentourismus.
Die drei Wochen im "Porta del Sol", waren einfach herrlich und kaum mit Worten zu beschreiben. Dieses Ferienhaus ist allen zu Empfehlen, die Ihren Urlaub geniessen und sich erholen möchten.

Die Villa ist schön gelegen in der Natur der Algarve, für Familien mit Kindern bestens geeignet. Die Villa ist mit soviel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Vielen Dank für alles. Das Willkommens Geschenk haben wir sehr genossen.
Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem grossen Haus und dem wunderschönen Garten und wir wollten gar nicht mehr wegfahren.
Wir werden diesen Urlaub nie mehr vergessen und wir können jedem Empfehlen: Buchen Sie die Villa sofort, sonst tun wir's wieder.
