Winter:
In the winter, the skking path starts directly on location, on the Grebenzen. The “Kreischberg“, the „Frauenalpe“, the Lach valley and the Turracher mountain are the mostly favored ski regions that offer something for everyone. A big enjoyment for the whole family is the toboggan running on the Grebenzen. Cross country skiing is also possible. If you want to go skating, you can do it on the numerous frozen pounds.
Summer:
The summer is ideal for the ones who love hiking. You can find numerous untouched valleys and corners to explore. There are many clear mountain lakes and pound where you can bath. You have the possibility to ride in almost every locality. You can also follow the mountain bike trails, such as the Mur bikeway if you enjoy biking. In the fall the woods invite you to pick berries and mushrooms. Fishing and tennis are also possible. Concerts take place in the castle Murau and in the Benedictine monastery. You can buy many ecological products on the numerous farms. In the summer program of the tourist organization, there are included many interesting activities for children.
St. Lambrecht:
The wooden blockhouse is located approx. 900 m outside the center of the locality. It has a very quiet disposition, at the margins of the natural park Grebenzen. You can reach the center on foot, over a tended footpath in less than 20 minutes. Shopping facilities, medical service and pharmacy are available on location.
