Nice apartment and great landlords!

We stayed for 9 days, and the apartment was excellent for our purpose; Familiyholiday in the city.

The apartment was nicely cleaned, beds were made and all ready!, and the apartment fully matched the description. The landlord was on time and everything was in order, so it was indeed a pleasant arrival.

Landlords are by the way very serviceminded, polite and can as such not be overrated. Everything worked fine during the stay.

The only small "stone in the shoe" was much noise from the apartment above. There were very much noise for some hours every afternoon and evening - running and jumping on the floors - which was inconvienient and quite unpleasant, since we wanted to cook and dine at home - as well as the kids needed som rest...

As guests only for some days of course one has to apply to the conditions on site, but it was our experience, that the noise was somewhat more than acceptable - in other words a problem.

We told the landlord, when we left, and he was appreciative and I recogn for sure, that if we had made a complaint during the stay, he probably would have taken the matter up.

Whether such noise is seen as a problem or not probably varies from person to person, and as said - apart from this it was in every way a very good stay!

There are U-bahns very close to the apartment, and since it is just a five minute walk to KaDeWe and Ku'damm it is centrally, yet quietly situated.

We certainly consider to return sometime in the future.

By the way - a marvellous vietnamese restarurant is situated nearby - ask the landlord. It is cheap and the food is exceptional! Nothing less! Go there. It is called "Saigon and more..."

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern für fünf Tage in Berlin und haben uns in dieser Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist wirklich optimal. Der einzige Nachteil ist vielleicht der, dass es direkt am Haus keinen Parkplatz für unser Auto gab. So mussten wir es ein paar Straßen weiter parken. Da wir aber nur die U-Bahn benutzt haben, war es nicht so tragisch.
Wenn wir noch einmal nach Berlin kommen, würden wir gerne wieder in der Ettaler Straße Quartier beziehen.

Wunderschöne gemütliche Wohnung

Die Ferienwohnung in der Ettaler Straße, kann man unbedenklich weiter empfehlen. Sie ist sehr zentral gelegen und nicht weit zur nächsten U-Bahn Station.
Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und es ist sogar mehr vorhanden als man braucht. Die beiden Schlafzimmer sind nicht so groß, aber es sind zwei Bäder vorhanden, was für 4 Personen äußerst angenehm ist. Das Wohn-Esszimmer ist riesengroß und sehr gemütlich. Die Vermieter haben die Wohnung bis ins Detail liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden die Wohnung auch unseren Freunden und Verwandten empfehlen.

solch eine wohnung hatten wir noch nie. sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sogar das geschirr nur vom feinsten, jeder denkbare komfort, sehr schöne, vom besitzer selbst gemalte bilder an den wänden, sehr nette betreuung, super ruhig gelegen, 5 minuten zu fuss zum kadewe, absolut empfehlenswert.

Beware - Vorsicht

Apartment was clean and overall ok.
However clothes washer broken for two weeks with no support to repair it.
Beware, your visitors are monitored by one of the neighbors who reports to the landlord.
Landlord does not hold to his portion of the contract
Owner's Response: Zu der äußerst negativen Bewertung möchte ich mich folgendermaßen äußern:
Es stimmt, die Waschmaschine war defekt. Es handelt sich um ein fast neues Gerät ( 6 Wochen alt). Die Maschine ging 3 Tage vor meiner 14 tägigen Urlaubsreise kaputt. Ich habe sofort einen Kundendienst bestellt. Dieser kam auch vor dem Urlaub, hatte aber nicht das erforderliche Ersatzteil dabei. Er sicherte zu, dies in den nächsten Tagen aber einbauen zu können. Darauf mußte ich mich verlassen.
Ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass dies auch geschehen wird. Es tut mir leid, dass dies nicht passiert ist. Zu meinem Ärgernis ist das Ersatzteil bis heute nicht ausgetauscht.
Da ich im gleichen Haus wohne, habe ich mich nach dem Urlaub mit einer Nachbarin unterhalten. Sie erzählte mir, dass sehr nette Damen in der Wohnung gewesen wären.
Mehr war nicht. Es stimmt nicht, dass die Feriengäste überwacht werden.
Die Beschwerdeführerin hatte die Wohnung für 1 Person gebucht und für 1 Person bezahlt. Von meiner Seite habe ich mich an den Vertrag gehalten. Ich habe ein Schlafzimmer - für eine Person - hergerichtet, aber beide Betten bezogen, so dass die Möglichkeit des Wechsels innerhalb der 2 Wochen bestand und reichlich Handtücher für 2 Wochen zur Verfügung gestellt.
Ich möchte mich für die Unannehmlichkeiten und Mißverständnisse entschuldigen.
