'Le Cottage du Loup' sleeps 6. It can be divided into 2 self contained homes to sleep 4 and 2 in the adjoining 'Poets Retreat' guest apartment on the ground floor. The interiors with marble floors have been beautifully restored to create a romantic hideaway with crystal chandeliers and carefully chosen furnishings. The villa is ideal for a romantic getaway, families with older children or friends sharing. Le Cottage Du Loup with shared pool in secluded private gated grounds sleeps 4 and is the major part of the villa being self contained.The south facing property has been lovingly restored and furnished with chandeliers and carefully chosen furnishings throughout. Sitting in a tranquil conservation area with captivating views. 2 romantic double bedrooms one with antique 4 poster bed and slipper bath to the adjoining bathroom with a balcony. The decoratively furnished 2nd bedroom leads onto a terrace also with its own bathroom. A hand painted kitchen boasts a large range cooker and halogen hob. Or cook on the great gas BBQ outside. The Living area has 2 double sofas TV, DVD, CD Player with separate dining area. The exterior dining and salt water pool have breathtaking views across the valley with sunbeds and parasols which are shared with Poets Retreat for 2.Why not find a place to sit in the grounds and read a book or just listen to the birds or the River Loup down the valley.

Le Cottage Du Loup/Poets Retreat is a couple of minutes from La Colle Sur Loup Village with bakers, butcher, supermarket, cafes, restaurants and a short stroll down to the River Loup for a lovely shady tree lined walk along the river bank. St Paul De Vence the 2nd most visited village in France is only a 5 min drive with the world renowned Colombe D'or Restaurant visited by many celebrities and some of the finest art galleries in the country including Foundation Maeght. Other picturesque villages close by include Vence, Tourrettes Sur Loup, Mougin, Grasse, Biot. With easy access all along the coast whether to Monaco and the Grand Prix , Antibes and its yachts, Cannes for the music and film festivals, Nice for its wonderful market in Cours Saleya and new tram system, Italy, St. Tropez. Your options are endless. In Winter skiing is approx 40 mins to Greolieres or slightly further to Isola 2000. Or just while away the hours by the pool watching the sunrise and set escaping the world.

Additional information about rental rates

  • SPECIAL NOTE: AS FLIGHTS TEND TO BE CHEAPER ON SUNDAYS THIS IS OUR CHANGEOVER DAY IN PEAK SEASON. IT ALSO MEANS OUR GUESTS DO NOT REQUIRE EXTRA DAYS OFF WORK

    THE START DAY IS FLEXIBLE FROM NOVEMBER TO MARCH.

    A 50% reservation deposit is required at time of booking by bank transfer. which is non refundable. The full amount is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival plus a security/damage deposit of £700.00 to cover any damage or breakages. If the renter cancels the contract within 8 weeks prior to arrival the rent is non refundable.

    You are advised to take out fully comprehensive travel/holiday insurance including a cancellation clause.

    The security/damage deposit will be refunded and dispatched within 10 days of vacating the villa subject to any losses. There is a £27.00 bank charge for refunds outside the UK there may also be costs charged by your bank for receipt of payment
  • Included in the weekly rental rate. Pool maintenance and gardener, cleaning, bedlinen, towels (not beach towels), air-conditioning, electricity. Cleaning and laundry weekly. To allow for cleaning on handover the villa must be vacated by 10.00am and is available from 16.00 on arrival. Arrival times unless previously arranged must be between 16.00 and 18.00 hours.

    There is an additional charge for heating during Winter between 1st October and 28th February, of £70.00 per week.
  • Please do not leave the air-conditioning/heating on constantly unless in use. Please ensure the windows/doors are closed whilst in use or an additional charge will be due. Thank you.

We visited the Cottage du Loup in early July and absolutely loved it. The property was in a beautiful setting; the house wonderfully decorated, and the pool area and landscaping fantastic. The house was well-appointed and lacked nothing. We brought our 16 month old daughter--the pool area has a shallow end perfect for little ones. The nearest town was quiet but had all the essentials. This area allows for plenty of easy trips to better-known nearby towns, but is peaceful and tranquil. We will be back!
