Bright and beautifully presented flat, fully equipped to high standards in a luxury apartment building on the second ( top)floor. The Residence is in the heart of the village and facing the yacht harbour of St. Jean. Beaches, restaurants, cafes & shops are in walking distance. The quiet flat and its terrace are south facing towards the hills with plenty of sunshine. The tastefully furnished living room has a comfortable sofabed, a dining area and a stylish breakfast bar with a well equipped kitchen. The elegant bedroom has plenty of storage & mirrors; there is a modern bathroom with bath and shower, mirror cupboard and washing dryer. Stylish colour coordinated bed linen, towels as well as beach towels are provided. The flat has TV with 7 french, 3 Italian, 2 German channels, Eurosport, CNN & BBC World and a DVD -Player decoded for international use. It also offers WiFi internet access. The flat & its parking in the underground of the residence are easy accessible via lift.

The former fishing village of St. Jean is in a sheltered corner of the green peninsula of Cap Ferrat which stretches out into the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea between Nice and Monaco. There are four pretty beaches within 10 minutes walk ; they are all well kept and some offer beach club/restaurant facilities with a variety of watersports. There are spectacular coastal walking paths with stunning views onto Beaulieu, Cap d'Ail, Italy or Cap d'Antibes and Nice. Good public transport is well implemented to explore the coast & the villages in the mountains. Nice and Monaco are in easy reach via bus. Cannes and Antibes or Italy are only a short train ride from nearby Beaulieu. Sites to visit on the peninsula are the beautiful villa and the impressive gardens of the Baroness Ephrussi de Rothschild. St. Jean has a zoological park. In the village you find all daily essentials; butcher, bakeries, fishmonger, little supermarket, wineshop etc. as well as cafes, restaurants.

  • 25 % deposit is required to confirm the reservation.
    Balance of 75% is due 30 working days before arrival.
    A security deposit of 350 Euros will be required, payable 30 days before arrival.
    A final cleaning and laundry charge of 50 Euros (basis 2 persons)will be deducted from the security deposit together with telephone consumption, utility charges and any breakages / damages. The balance of the security deposit will be quickly refunded. All amounts will be refunded if reservation is canceled and the property can be re let for the same period.
  • The renter should be fully insured for personal injury, theft etc. The owner refuses all responsibility for recourse that an insurance company may exercise against the owner in the case of an accident.

Great flat in millionaires' village

This is a very nice flat in the heart of the village of St Jean Cap Ferrat. It is on the top floor but easily accessible by two lifts if needed,. Although central it is quiet and peaceful.

The arrangements for meeting me on arrival were excellent and I could have asked the local contact for help if needed (I didn't need to). The owner had left a welcoming bottle of wine and also phoned to make sure everyting was OK.

I didn't have a car but there is a garage space available in the building basement. Local transport connections are very good. There is a bus directly into Nice and a short walk brings you to Beaulieu where there are additional bus routes to Nice and Menton and the SCNF station with links east and west along the coast. You can go into Italy for example.

There are also several interesting local walks around the Cap and the village.

There are many local restaurants at various price levels.

In short, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a base to explore this lovley area.
