All year round holiday rental, with different season you will discover different sceneries. 6000m2 of well kept lawn grass, with young trees. The local food & traditions are delightful, try the fresh seafood in Honfleur, the Chesses in Camenbert, Livarot, Pont l'Eveque, the Calvados & cider factories in Pt L'eveque and Cormeilles. The long sandy beach of Deauville with its golf course, racing course, spa, top of the range shops(Gucci..), Casino and much more...Visit the Basilique of Lisieux, the Memorial in Caen (all about second World War), all the cemeteries of the D Day in Bayeux, Aromanches & Dunkerque. the house is situated in a rural village, farmers will never be far away and there's often a herd of white cows in the field behind the property. The property is 1 hour from Le Havre ferry port, just over 1 hour From Ouistream, 2 hours from Dieppe & 3 hours from Calais. (Please, for further information do not hesitate to contact the owner).

A beautiful, newly built house in the heart of Pays d'Auge, Moyaux 4km, Calvados, Normandy. The house is in a great location for visiting local attractions and towns. One hour from Le Havre ferry port, 30 minutes from Honfleur (pretty port village), 30 minutes from Deauville and Trouville seaside resort. Zoo at 4km (Le Cerza), Lisieux at 12km the main town in Calvados with shops, supermarkets and large Saturday market, and visit of the Basilique of Lisieux. Cider, apples, Calvados, seafood, Normandie cheeses are all the local delicacies. 1 hour drive to the debarkation beaches (Bayeux, Arromanches...). The house is situated in a very peaceful rural village in the heart of Pays d'Auge, perfect for relaxing holidays. In Moyaux you will find; 2 bakers, 1 butcher, 1 flower shop, 1 delicatessen (charcuterie), 2 bars, 1 restaurant, 1 pizza restaurant and take away,1 small supermarket, 1 chemist and 1 doctors surgery. Large Sunday market in Trouville with fresh fish, vegetables and local delicacies. 'La route du cidre' a planned route for cider lovers, visit all cheese factories in Camembert, Livarot, Pont L'Eveque and visit Calvados maker in Cormeilles.' Le Pays d'Auge. The heart of 'the land which wants for nothing'. It has beautiful countryside, intertwined little valleys, lovely green carpeted prairies, a surprising quality of monuments, timber framed manor houses covered with pink tiles which one never tires of seeing and a mild, almost Gulf Stream climate.

The property & further details: This is a stunning brand new property, design by ourselves equipped with all modern appliances. you'll find peace, quiet, beautiful Normandy countryside scenery but still close enough to villages with regional shops, seaside resort in Deauville, Most pretty port in Honfleur with all the seafood restaurants. Near all the D Day beaches, Mont St Michel, even Paris is only 3 hours drive. There's a Zoo at 3kms (le Cerza) you can find markets in Cormeilles(8kms) on Friday mornings, Lisieux(12 kms) on Saturday mornings, Trouville (30kms) on Sunday mornings, Pont l'Eveque (20kms) on monday mornings and many many more... There's plenty to do & plenty to see. (Do not hesitate to contact the owner for further information)

Le Haras de la pomme: In the centre of the village, in Le Pin 500metres after the church, there is a equestrian centre run by a young lady, she organises horse and poney walk in the country side for adults and children, she also does training courses to learn how to ride a horse. if anybody was interested to book, call Lydie Denis the day before your visit. Golf: There's a golf course in Deauville, 30 kms away, very big and extremely popular & well know of golfers.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday at "La Tranquilite" which is a beautiful house providing every comfort and facility one could possibly wish for.

The house is immaculately presented, the furnishings and fixtures being of a very high standard. The extremely helpful owner has efficiently compiled a very useful dossier which includes clear instructions for all the appliances. We also appreciated the TV with French Freeview and the DVD player.

The house is perfectly named, being extremely tranquil and relaxing in the heart of the country yet within easy reach of a delightful local village, excellent hypermarket, superb beaches and also rail links to Paris, thus offering a perfect holiday location.

Cannot recommend highly enough. One of our best holidays ever.

Beautiful home.

Just as all the other reviews,the house was perfect, spotlessly clean and all modern, workable amenities. We arrived at 5pm as previously discussed and we were met promptly with the keys, the same when we departed at 10am

The only negative was that the 4th bedroom was locked which would have been convenient for the 2nd bathroom.

The area is so convenient for Honfleur, Deuville and Trouville. The Basillica at Lisieux is a must see - the stained glass windows and the
mosaics are incredible.

We returned to Buckinghamshire Sunday 13 September after a superb week, the weather was perfect, we made good use of the BBQ!!

We can highly recommend this accommodation.

Stunning House in a Beautiful Location

We have just returned from a week's holiday at 'La Tranquilite' and would recommend it highly to anybody.

The house itself is truly fantastic; it has everything you could possibly need and so much more. It is beautifully decorated with high quality fixtures and furnishings throughout, the layout is practical and spacious. The surrounding gardens were vast and enclosed, providing superb privacy and an excellent safe playing area for the children to burn of any excess energy.

The house is located in a beautiful region of Normandy with so many pretty towns and villages close by, such as Honfluer, Pont L'Eveque, Lisieux and Trouville as well as many places of interest such as the D-Day Beaches & Pegasus Bridge, Cerza Parc Zoologique (Literally 5 minutes drive away from the house), Bayeaux Tapestry, Lisieux Basilica etc.

To summarise, we have had a wonderful family holiday, in fact, the best we have had to date and are looking forward to returning again to 'La Tranquilite' in the not so distant future to further explore the region.

What a wonderful holiday

We all agree that this is the nicest holday home we have ever stayed in. Everything was immaculate and well presented. The garden was amazing, and we spent many a happy afternoon sunbathing as the weather was fantastic. Local villages so pretty and everyone so friendly. Delphines Mum was so welcoming and helpful answering all our questions when we arrived.
Jogging around the area was so enjoyable in the early morning/late afternoon as hardly any traffic.
Local zoo was a great day out and so close. Market at Cormielle full of suprises with Line dancing, local country dancing and dray horse and cart rides.
