Photos and Description of this Thailand Central Region holiday apartment Nice Condo along the riverside . Located just 8 km from Suwarnabhumi Airport.

This Bangkok apartment is situated on the 7th floor in calm surroundings with river and trees. Despite it is located in the very busy On Nut area , you don't need to worry about noise here. The apartment is 55 square meters, with a big balcony towards east. The complex has a 24 hours security. In the kitchen there is everything you need. Fridge with freezer, microwave oven , stove , pots and pans, etc. The bathroom is with shower. In the living room is also a leather couch, which can be unfolded and be sleeping space for 2 persons. In the bedroom is a big, and very comfortable double bed . The apartment has 2 air conditioners. On the balcony is a little table with 2 chairs, where you can enjoy the morning sun and a cup of coffee. There are also a swimming pool, situated on the second floor, which can be used freely by the guests. In the complex are also a little shop , a hairdresser and a laundry.

Nearest Train: BTS On Nut Skytrain Station. at 2 Kilometres

Wide selection of shopping centres , easy access to Bangkok town centre and airport with BTS sky train and metro. If you take the BTS Sky train from On Nut Station , I can recommend you to ' jump off ' at Phrom Pong Station and take a look at the park situated just a few metres from the station.The pond is loaded with turtles and fish , a really nice spot. Just beside the park is the Emporium Shopping centre , amazing centre with cinemas , bowling and a great variety of food. I also can recommend you to take a trip on the river , it is very cheap and exiting. The long boat are laying to shore just 100 metres from the complex.

Good base and you get what you pay for?

Once the taxi driver found the place , we were greated by the house-keeper who took us straight to the appartment. The appartment was clean but there was still tolietries left in bathroom which we didn't mind but the four used bars of soap and a used shaver in the shower was a bit disgusting!During our stay we tried using the kettle but couldn't understand how to work it, same with the washing machine.We took it out to the balcony, found the extension cable and the hose from the bathroom but the connecting hose had the same connection. (like two male connections) so we couldn't work the washing machine.
The sky train is a good thirty minute walk and when you come on to the main On Nut road you go right for a good twenty five minutes the go left for five at the main junction. The motorbike taxi at the corner will take you there in 5 minutes for 20bahts or a metered taxi for about 50 bahts but this information is not in the appartment and it wasour second day before we found our own way.
On the sky train you pay 60 bahts a single jouney depending on distance but you best buy blocks of 20,40 or 60 trips. I can't remember the size of the block but it works out a lot cheaper in you intend using the sky train regular.
Over all the appartment was good and clean. The area is alright and the internet cafe is at the top of the road with a fab hairdressers that I got a great hair cut from and back massage which took 2 hours for 350 bahts.
The only drawback was that with the description of the appartment with one bedroom. It is open plan so as a couple with a thirteen year old it wasn't quiet convenient have seeing each other sleeping in bed across from each other.
But I would still recommend it as a good base and value for money.

Very comfortable bed with great views!

The apartment was as described except for the fully equipment kitchen. The kettle didn't work and we would have liked a toaster. There was a microwave but we didnt use it. There was no plug for the sink or the basin but the shower was blocked and there was hair in the basin plug hole. What we hadn't anticipated was that the owner's personal toiletries and clothes would be on display in the apartment and there was a lack of towels. Having said all of that - we enjoyed our stay - the air conditioning was lovely to have and the apartment was close enough to the Sky Train as well as the local hawker food, internet cafe etc., and we just used it as a base and didn't spend a lot of time there. A nice touch would be to have a welcome book of "things to do" and what to do with the key at the end etc., which we had to guess at.

The kettle will be replaced with a new one , and we will buy a toaster as suggested.

Things will be done " first thing in the morning ".

About the clothings in the appartment , that is for sure , an one-off affair !!

The basinplug whole is a little narrow , but if you dont use to much water at a time , that should be no problem.

We are greatful that our guests give us some feedback , we need that to improve , and make things for our guests better.

Our aim is definately to get satisfied customers .
