Photos and Description of this Almunecar holiday house 3 bedroom, split level house with private garden, close to beach and marina.

The apartment is a light and airy three bedroom property over two levels, with a small secure garden and views over the marina entrance and beyond. On entry is a hall, fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave etc, a sitting room with dining area, the third bedroom and a toilet with shower. The lower floor has a larger bathroom and two further bedrooms with garden area accessible from the master bedroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, though portable air conditioning is available if required. There is a dedicated parking area inside a remote controlled barrier. The small beach is a genuine 3 minute walk away, with a wonderful beach bar / restaurant. There are several restaurants in the marina, some shops and also a small supermarket for all the essentials you forgot! But it does not have a noisy nightlife. In the marina there is also a dive centre, laundry and a cash point machine. Our apartment is ideal for a special holiday either for couples or a family,

Costa Tropical (Tropical Coast) Also known as the Costa Granada, the Costa tropical continues to be an ongoing discovery. You can dine on delicious seafood and garden-fresh produce or participate like a native in the traditional festivals held each spring and summer in the “white towns” scattered along the 103 kilometres of coastline. Dotting the Tropical Coast are towers and fortresses that once served in days of old as watch posts during the Arab occupation. Almuñecar (Al-moon-yeh-car) is the main town on the 100km long Costa Tropical, and is still fairly unspoilt. There are numerous exotic fruits grown here – pick a banana as you walk along the road - though one can go skiing only an hour way in the Sierra Nevadas! Throughout the year are numerous colourful and noisy fiestas, with Easter (Semana Santa) being particularly important. On every headland along the Costa Tropical are the watch towers and fortresses that built to give warning of Moorish invasion.

Notes: The owners live nearby and so are on hand to help you, and se you into and out of the house. A car is virtually essential, as the area is fairly spread out, plus there is so much to see and explore in this beautiful area! There are a lot of hills and therefore steps in this area, which may make things difficult for the elderly or infirm. For your enjoyment and entertainment, in the apartment is TV with Sky, DVD and CD players, with a selection of films and music, and a selection of books and games. We also provide an iron and a hairdryer. Beach towels are supplied as are sun beds and loungers in the lower garden. On the upper terrace is a seating area with tables and chairs and a gas barbecue.

Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches, offering all major water sports. The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle. SALOBREÑA – A whitewashed township clinging to huge lump of rock just back from the shoreline topped by a Moorish castle. The flower-filled streets contain centuries of history, and offer an array of restaurants. SIERRA NEVADA SKI RESORT- Sierra Nevada is located near Granada. It is Europe´s southernmost ski resort and is endowed with the Iberian peninsula´s highest summits.
