Les Trois Arbres stands in the quiet rural hamlet Les Saurins, a 10 minute drive from Ste Foy la Grande and the river Dordogne. This beautiful property dates back to 1861 and recently restored (2007) to a very high standard maintaining many original features such as high vaulted ceilings, original beams and stone walls. The property comprises three seperate units and forms an L shape with L'olivier looking down the garden whilst Le Pin and Le Chene look across the garden with a secure fenced pool to one side. Le Chene, the largest sleeps up to 8 people, Le Pin sleeps up to 4 on two levels and L'olivier sleeps up to 4 on one level. The heated pool with Roman steps and sundeck form an idyllic suntrap and offer magnificent views over the rolling countryside and vineyards. We had such a wonderful time at this fabulous Gite. There were 8 of us staying in total and there was so much room. The bedrooms are beautiful and have been renovated to a very high standard. There are beautiful views of vineyards. The local area is very friendly, there are fabulous restaurants in villages nearby. There is a very reliable taxi service run by a gentleman called Nicholas...look for his card in the informational folder in the gite. I can't recommend the location enough...fabulous patio area, pool area, bbq area:-)

I stayed at Le Chene for 1 week in July.

I had a fantastic stay here and would certainly look at coming back here to stay for another holiday. The accomodation is beautifully restored and I can guarantell after a few days you will not want to leave, it is exactly how it is described on the website maybe better.

The owners of the the property are extremely friendly and helpful, they know the local area very well and recommended a couple of evenings out at the local restaurants. A lovely area to stay in I can't wait to go back.

My family and I had a wonderful week at Les Trois Arbres. Description is very accurate and we were very impressed with, flexible and very stylish accomodation and facilities provided. The owners customer service was superb and we felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
We enjoyed the wonderful pool and its beautiful views. There are lovely walks from the house and many day trips out in the beautiful countryside. We particularly enjoyed a day out to Sante Foy le Grande.
All in all a wonderful week in fantastic surroundings. We will definately be back.

We stayed at this beautiful property ror 2 weeks.The descriptions of the property are accurate and the accomodation is very impressive and finished to a very high standard.No expense has been spared and everything you need is provided.Our 2 young children enjoyed the gorgeous pool for many hours and we enjoyed peace and tranquility.We had a great day canoeing on the dordogne and visited many local vineyards,beautiful old towns,local markets and st Emillion.The property is very secluded and you really feel you are away from it all.The stars at night are amazing.A car is a must to explore the local area.The owners were in residence when we stayed and were very helpful and considerate.All in all a marvellous relaxing holiday,we would recommend to anyone.
