Caprese Michelangelo holiday villa: Caprese Michelangelo

We have just returned having spent two weeks at Borgo Tozzetto in casa padrone. The accommodation is for six people with two bedroomed and a bed sofa in the lounge. The bedrooms are both a good size and clean but one of the rooms has absolutely no storage for clothing - two single beds and one bedside locker made it feel quite sparse.
The living accommodation is spacious with a lovely open fireplace but only a tiny kitchen - the oven was grubby and greasy which was off putting. No tea towels/dishcloths were supplied.
There is a large dining table which comfortably seats six but apart from the dining room chairs, the small sofa bed is the only seating available so not very comfortable to relax in the evening.
The bathroom is small but clean and well fitted but the teeny tiny towels supplied (6) were only big enough to wrap around your head. So bring your bath towels.
The website states that there is a typical "Taverna" where you can eat meals and breakfast cooked by Daniella - this is not so. Although there is a lovely little taverna, it is closed with no notification as to when it does open.You will meet Daniella on arrival - get a short curt "welcome" and not see her again - she speaks very little english and will simply shrug her shoulders if asked any questions so don't bother.
The garden and pool area is immaculately maintained and the view is lovely. The pool is spotless - freeezing but spotless. There is an abundance of lavender and wild rosemary and the fragrance in the air is divine.
A car and a confident driver is essential as the roads are twisty and winding up and down mountains to get to most places.
With a little more comfort and some attention to detail this place would suit if you want peace and quite in a very rural setting.
