Beautiful 3 bedroom apartment overlooking marina, minutes from the beach.

The home. This 120 sq meter three bedroom 2 1/2 bath apartment with terraces (extra 34 sq meter on two terraces) is located in a nice resort building built in 1994 on a peninsula. Located on the second floor, our living-room is overlooking a marina built on the Chingudy Bay, the natural border between France and Spain. We have an open view on the medieval city of Funtarrabia on the other side of the bay. Our three back rooms are overlooking a private garden with two pools, and we are one block only to the beach (100 meters). We have on the marina side a kitchen fully equipped with granite counter and a large living-room with TV (including multi TV programs in English through a satellite dish) and a VCR. The three bedrooms are in the back side: two with single beds that can be doubled and terrace, and the master's bedroom with double bed. We have one bath with toilet + one shower with toilet + another toilet + washer and dryer + two underground parking spots in a private garage.

The region

Hendaye is in the Basc region less famous than the French Riviera but very much appreciated by tourists who enjoy the authenticity of the area and the wild beauty of this region surrounded by the Pyrénées foothills on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. You will find on the Basc Country a large choice of recreational activities: boating, surfing, windsurfing, hiking, golf.

The neighborhood

You can bike or roller skate from our building in the long biking track surrounding the Chingudy Bay and on the beach boardwalk. You have a boat shuttle next door to our condo which crosses the bay every half an hour in summer and brings you in 10 minutes to the Funtarrabia boardwalk. The coastal area and the inland are rich in great restaurants. A health spa (thalassothérapie), a shopping area and tennis courses are at walking distance from our apartment. We are 30 minutes away from Biarritz on the North, and the same distance from San Sebastian, Spain, on the south. Beyond, we are 1 hour 1/2 away from Bilbao and its Guggenheim Museum, and Pamplona of Hemingway's fame.

Golf Information:

You have no less than 10 golfs within a 30 km radius: the golf of Funetarrabia right on the other side of the border, the golfs of Chantaco and La Nivelle in Saint Jean de Luz, the ones of Le Phare, Chiberta, Arcangues, Bassussarry and Ilabarritz in Biarritz and its surroundings, and the golf of Sarautz south of San Sebastian. The one of Hossegor is half an hour north of Biarritz.
