Interested in spending an unforgettable holiday in the 'Eternal' city? Then you must stay at the 'Pope's house' in the Vatican city, a fully-furnished elegant apartment at walking distance from Rome's most famous sites, such as the Vatican Museums (Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's and Castel Sant' Angelo. 'Pope's house' is a penthouse with a lovely terrace located 500 meters from the Vatican Walls in Via Pio VIII (quite little street), on the 5th floor (with elevator) and has just been refurbished and renovated, facilities included (Bed linen and towels, A/C, Heating, TV, CD/mp3 player, iron and ironing board, hair drier fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer and microwave). Cleaning and change of linen are not included, however it can be arranged upon request. Pope's house comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. The apartment is composed of an entrance hall, living room (sofa with double bed), kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and balcony(30mq)

The Pope House apartment is strategically located near the underground station, so that you can reach the heart of the Eternal City in a few minutes. The area is very well served by public bus service too and has many restaurants and shops all around. This location allows you to go the St Peter Chappel .. Colosseum in a while and, once there, you can start exploring all the famous historical places of Rome. In the same area where the apartment is located there are three important museums(Vatican), in one of them you can admire the ruins of an ancient Roman construction which has been recovered and brought back to life. It seems that this masterpiece fell down during its construction and, thanks to the experts' work, today it is visible in all its beauty

Great Location, Lovely Apartment

The owner, Paulo, was very helpful and responded quickly to any question or problem I had. The apartment itself is very convenient to the Metro Station and the local bus routes. Between those two means of transportation, I traveled all over Rome. Paulo has done a good job renovating the apartment. It has a lovely piazza. The bathroom is very nice with a new tiled shower and new fixtures. I would recommend this apartment without any reservations.

Comforable apartment near all public transport

We stayed here for 1 week, and found the apartment to be very comfortable and clean. Quiet location. The rooms were ample size for a family of four and the facilities met our needs. Nicely furnished for a holiday let, especially the bathroom and main bedroom. The apartment is near all means of public transport, and if you are staying for a few days we would recommend buying a ticket that you can use on buses, metro and trains and only costs 16 euro for 7 days. We were given clear instructions on local facilities ie: supermarkets etc. We loved this apartment and would definately recommend it, and hope to go back ourselves some time. Thanks for everything.

Das Appartement isr sehr zu empfehlen - sehr sauber und freundlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub benötigt.
Die Lage ist zentral - in nur kurzer Zeit ist man zur Vatikanstadt gelaufen.
Direkt vor dem Haus ist die Bushaltestelle und ein paar Meter weiter, ein wirklich für Rom günstiger Supermarkt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
