The property is located in a small tiered village with a beautiful communal pool in the centre. Recently finished in 2007, this house is neutrally decorated throughout. Access is through the front door directly on to the first floor, where there is a kitchen, shower room, third bedroom and large reception area. The fully tiled kitchen has black granite work surfaces, with integrated stainless steel appliances, and easily caters for 6. Beyond the kitchen there is a large open plan reception and dining area, with big sliding windows leading out on to the balcony. The views from here are superb, looking out across open countryside and down to the coast. 2 large bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, are found on the ground floor, both with en-suite bathrooms, built in wardrobes and French windows opening out onto a small patio. To the front of the property is parking for 2 cars. Landscaped gardens match the interior quality of the house.

Vale da Ribeira is 45 minutes from Faro airport, and about 10 minutes from Lagos and Alvor/ Portimao.This property is ideal for a relaxing holiday, as well as for golfers as there are some of the best courses in the Algarve within a short drive from the resort, including Penina, Palmares and Boavista. Absolutely perfect for families looking for a mix of country, beach and town. Lagos is one of the Algarve's most attractive and historic towns, close to some of the best beaches on the Algarve cost, including the famous 5km long Meia Praia beach that stretches from Lagos to the Alvor estuary. There are also many more beautiful beaches to be found further down the coast. Alvor is a former fishing village with a characterful river front harbour. Portimao is ideal for shopping, or for taking a boat trip up the coast.

Travel: Faro airport is served from many UK airports, and flights from the UK take between 2 1/2 and 3 hours. There are several car hire companies that operate out of Faro, as a car is essential to make the most of your stay.

Activities: There are numerous things to do within a short drive. Boat excursions leave from Lagos marina and include trips to see the local pods of dolphins and caves and grottos along the coast.

Golf: There are several courses in the vicinity, including the Palmares (4km away), the Penina Golf Club, designed by Henry Cotton, Boavista, Alto Golf, Gramacho, Salgados and Silves.
