Chill out watching HDTV & listening to music: For music buffs who have not down-sampled their music on their i-Pods or i-Phones you can plug it into the R-dock provided and listen through the time domain audio system, including state of the art Eclipse TD subwoofer for an exceptional sound experience.
You can lounge around on the Bonaldo Dragonfly chair which opens out to become a chaise longe. The High Definition BeoCenter6-23 TV has a Sky+ HD set top box (variety, News Fox, CNN, Bloomberg, Sports and DAB radio. The Lutron Grafik-Eye lighting system and shade are all controlled via the Beo4 remote control. There are four different lighting moods to select on the Lutron system and upon leaving the Lux Pod (if you can tear yourself away from it) one press of a button in the lobby turns off the lights. When you enter, the shade goes up and lights on, just one press! Use of the BeoCom2 phone is available for you as well.

Snacking & working at the pod: The stainless steel top of the Norbert Wangen K4 kitchen slides open to allow two funky Italian Soft line translucent blue bar stools to be placed either side, for convivial meals or computer usage via WI-FI broadband, should you wish to work a little. (Please place carpet square under stools). The K4 kitchen is fully equipped with an oven/microwave/grill and fridge and two ceramic hobs. The hobs work with the Le Crueset pans supplied.
On the door step there are about 10 places to have coffee, alternatively you can make an espresso with the Alessi espresso coffee maker designed by Richard Sapper. Starbucks is across the road. For tea buffs there is also a singing Richard Sapper Alessi 9091 kettle (exhibited at the Design Museum in Gent). For the more health conscious freshly squeezed orange juice can be made using Italian Alessi electric juicer. Please let me know if you require the juicer. You will find items in the fridge for your enjoyment upon your arrival as well. Please ENJOY
Orientation personal guided companion: If you require a half day orientation companion please let us know and that can also be arranged. It can be for shopping for designer clothing in Knightsbridge and South Kensington, home furnishings and clothing from the local areas mentioned above, and specialist interior design related soft furnishings, furniture and accessories in the areas of W1 London, South Kensington SW7, Kensington W8 and Chelsea SW3 and Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. Or a quick introduction to the many galleries, such as the Tate Modern, Tate Museum, National Portrait Gallery, National Gallery, Wallace Collection and Royal Academy of Arts to name a few.
