A spacious 1 bedroom penthouse apartment situated on the top floor of the very popular aparthotel 'Santa Maria'. Its ideal location, very close to beach and harbour, makes this a very popular choice for self-catering holiday makers. This beautiful, top floor apartment has been refurbished to a very high standard by its new owners and comprises of a large attractive bedroom with twin beds and fitted wardrobes , a fully re-fitted bathroom, American style kitchen with fitted units and new appliances. In the large living area there is a new sofa bed, feature dining area, flat screen TV, (G.B) and DVD. The balcony gives stunning, uninterrupted views over Torviscas, the Puerto Colon harbour and the ocean ! The complex has a beautiful sunbathing area with 2 pools, 1 heated, and a childrens pool with lifeguard on duty. There is also a restaurant, pool snack bar, children´s club and evening entertainment. There are laundry and internet facilities on site and a hairdressing salon.

This superb ´Penthouse´apartment is ideally situated in the ´up market´ area of Las Americas! There are many shops/ bars and excellent restaurants close by. Within a few minutes walk are 2 lovely, safe beaches whose promenades house some very popular eating places! As well as a panoramic sea view from the balcony, there is also a fantastic view of Puerto Colon harbour and its boats. Again, this can be reached within a 5 minute stroll. The ´Santa Maria´ complex is perfectly placed for all of the major attractions... The newly opened Siam Park, the Aqua Park and Golf courses are within easy reach, only a very short taxi ride away! For those who enjoy walking, Los Cristianos can be reached via a very popular walk along the promenade from Puerto Colon, with plenty of refreshment opportunities provided by the many seaside bars along the way. A shorter stroll will take you to the select Bahia Del Duque beach and shopping centre.

  • Children are welcome and there will be NO extra charge. Prices are based on 2 adults sharing, for each additional adult(16 plus) there will be a supplement of 20 pounds per week. No more than three adults will be accepted in one booking.
    A non-refundable deposit of 50 pounds is required to secure the booking. Payment and key details to be confirmed at time of booking.
  • Prices are based on a minimum stay of 1 week. However, additional days above one week will be charged pro rata if requested.. For stays of 2 weeks plus, a special discount rate will apply, details upon request.

Notes: Access to the apartment is via lifts situated at various points in the complex. Our aim is to make your stay an enjoyable one and a welcome pack will be provided for all guests. Beach towels are provided, allowing extra space in your suitcase for those duty free purchases!! There are pay phones inside the complex and internet access is available. All bedding and towels will be changed weekly. The complex is a safe and secure environment with 24 hour reception where you can book excursions, hire a car and buy your daily paper! There is a laundry, hairdressers, restaurant, pool snack bar, games room, children´s club, evening entertainment and vending machines should you need them. The complex has 2 pools, one heated, and also a childs pool. In the unlikely event there are any concerns the owners live locally and are on hand to deal personally with your queries. For the comfort of future guests smoking is permitted on the balcony only. For security a safe is provided

2 x adults and 2 x teenagers stayed in the apartment for 12 days in Aug 09. We had a wonderful holiday.The apartment is located within the well appointed Santa Maria hotel complex situated in Torviscas (20 minute coastal walk/amble to Las Americas). The Apartment itself is nicely furnished and well maintained. On arrival there is a "get you in" food and drinks pack.
The balcony overlooks the complex swimming pools and the local Port(as can be seen in the advert photos)
There are plenty of bars/restaurants close to the complex which are in the main considerably cheaper than those in Las Americas.
The sun beds/umbrellas around the pools are free and generally available any time of the day. The pool has bar.
The beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment
Having stayed in Las Americas in 08, I would recommend to anybody who is planning on travelling to Tenerife and staying around the Las Americas Area to consider the Torviscas area and more specifically Nicky and Phills apartment.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday staying in Nicky & Phill's apartment in the Santa Maria complex, the whole setting made our holiday. The apartment was spotless and tastefully furnished, with lovely views out to Puerto Colon and beyond from the balcony.The beach was 5 minutes walk away and there were many reasonably priced restaurants and bars within easy reach. Great would definately go again.
