A conveniently located self-catering apartment with huge character set in a 16th century building just minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge and central Venice. The newly refurbished apartment sleeps 4 people comfortably and is furnished to a high standard with antiques collected from around the world. The dining and living areas are spacious and comfortable . A marble bathroom and double bedroom are located off the main room . Stairs lead to a mezzanine floor with 2 further single beds . The kitchen is well appointed with washing machine and dish washer . Take your breakfast espresso on the private and romantic wooden terrace and enjoy a 360 degree view of Venice 's unique rooftops. Long and short term rentals are considered . No pets.

My wife and I were in Italy for our second Anniversary and we loved this apartment! It is bright and airy and a fantastic place to sit back, relax, read and listen to the city after a long day of sightseeing. All the bell towers in the morning were beautiful.

The area was quiet at night, there is a market close by, and it is easy to get to anywhere we needed to go: sites, restaurants, waterbus, you name it...

The owner was also extremely helpful and communicative. Off of her recommendation, we had dinner at Da Fiore and it was our favorite meal of the trip!

We would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Fabulous apartment

This wonderful apartment exceeded all expectations! Tastefully decorated and recently renovated with up to date appliances and fixtures and ample and comfortably finished living and dining rooms. Huge windows on two sides of the top floor allowed for enjoyment of of cooling breezes and the sweet sounds of the neighbourhood chidlren and canaries. Quiet neighbourhood location just of off the tourist-beaten path. Restaurants and all amenities only small blocks away. And the piece de resistance, a private roof deck accessed through the charming mezanine bedroom, from which towers and roofs of more than 3/4 of Venice could be seen. Well thought out floor plan made this very comfortable for 3 and likely for 4.
Owner is delightful to deal with and property agent thorough and effecient. We'll go again when we can, just to stay in the apartment.

A great weekend in Venice

This is a lovely apartment in a fantastic location. It has been beautifully renovated to the highest standard. The owner was extremely helpful throughout and provided very useful information on the local area and the city itself. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends and we would love to return ourselves!

This is a fantastic apartment, especially the terrace over the rooftops of Venice. We spent wonderful evenings looking over to San Marco (just in sight) and watching the swallows.

Beautiful flat - great stay!

Stayed here for a 4-day weekend and had a really great stay. The flat is very beautiful, wonderfully decorated, and at the same time very comfortable, very bright with windows on all sides, and a luxurious bathroom. There's also a fantatsic view over the Venice rooftops from the altana.
It's very well placed to get to anywhere in Venice, and also has a lot of places to eat in the neighbourhood : not just really good restaurants (we didn't do any cooking), but also a great coffee/pastry shop literally opposite the building, a delicious bakery on the way to the San Stae vaporetto stop, etc.
What we really appreciated were all the personal touches and attention to detail : the booking was very friendly and easy, the owner sent us lots of tips beforehand, the welcome went smoothly, there were a lot of books on venice in the flat, basics in the kitchen and in the bathroom, and the owner even called us during our stay to make sure everything was going OK.
All in all a great find, thoroughly recommended!
