New luxury detached 3 bedroom ski chalet in a small development, amongst stunning mountain scenery 3km from the romantic and historic town of Murau. Beautifully furnished, sleeping 7, with 2 separate bathrooms and a Sauna. Also a large open plan dining, kitchen and living area. TV (Free view channels), dishwasher, washer and dryer. Large outside terrace with Jacuzzi Hot Tub. In Murau there is a bathing lake and swimming pool. On your doorstep is the ski region of Kreischberg, this can be reached by car or the little local train at the bottom of the lane in 5 minutes. Kreischberg has over 30km of skiing. This region is known primarily for its lakes and mountain ranges, enjoying over 200 days of sunshine a year. The chalet is beside a stream and the longest cycle route in Europe and the River Mur are down at the bottom of the lane.

Rental rates for the chalet in Austria

Notes to the rental rates

• Bills with the exception of the final cleaning are included in the rental price.
  Final cleaning is 55 EUR for an occupancy of 4 + 10 EUR for each additional person.
  On-line bookings are held for 5 working days until receipt of deposit (£200/€252 per week). On receipt of the deposit we will confirm the booking in writing (and by email). The final balance plus a security deposit of £200/€252 is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit is fully refundable pending an inspection from our management company.These prices are per night for the whole chalet. They include reasonable use of gas, water and electricity as well as the Austrian Visitors Tax. They also include bed linen and towels. See out website for our terms and conditions.
  
• We accept wire payments in Euros or Sterling directly to our bank accounts or you can pay securely using any major credit/debit card via Paypal in Sterling and Euros. Please note Paypal transactions will be subject to a 3.00 percent surcharge.
  

Accommodation and Facilities for the chalet in Austria

Skiing

The Chalet is positioned beside the ski areas of Kreischberg which is a few minutes drive away and Turracher (35 minutes) which combined offer nearly 70km of skiing. The Kreischberg ski area is making an investment of 7 million euros to put in a covered 6 seater chairlift and 3kms of piste and due to be ready winter 2008.

Rafting/ Cycling/ Horse riding/ Swimming

“Murtal Rafting“: The river “Mur“ offers ideal conditions for rafting catering for all grades of difficulty from beginner to more seasoned adventure rafter. Cycling: The “Murradweg“ bicycle track is most picturesque between Murau and Stadl. There are numerous restaurants and picnic spots and the nearby Nock- and Tauern mountains offer fantastic unspoilt views. Horse Riding: On offer are hikes on horseback, riding lessons, pony riding for children and excursions by horse-drawn carriage. The are artificial lakes in Stadl and Murau with open for swimming in the Summer and Ice skating in the winter. In St Lorenzen there is a superb open air pool and a large indoor pool on Murau.

Golf Information:

The Chalet is only 200 meters from the local 18-hole golf course, the Murau Kreischberg Golf Club is set amongst the beautiful mountain scenery and magnificent scenery for a leisurely game of golf.
